my brother and sister have both been on my bikes - 12 and 9 respectively. (i'm considerably older than them lol)
i still tell them what to do as a passenger though (look and leans, hold on tight!)
i like reflective rim tape as well ( too lazy to put it on my last two bikes)
and the jeans in boots thing isn't a big deal either- my ex-gf used to do that as well- i found it kinda cute. but for some reason on a dude it doesn't look right... to each their own lol.
icon vests over hoodies. and ridiculously over-exaggerated "two-fingers-down-wave" .. it doesn't look cool- you do the serious speedracer thing and i'll wave to you like a normal human being.
i drive/ ride that route quite often to get to my girlfriend's house. it's nice, but too straight for me to really enjoy it.
FYI- it's not always quiet - sometimes cops and speedtraps when you get close to Laskay. I once saw 2 bikes ripping by me while i was driving - they must have been doing...
2 years ago i rode through the worst storm 2nd worst storm i'd even seen... my rubbers were submerged in water on the highway- jacket didn't dry for 3 days.... with a fan on it lol.
agreed. it's worth the 400 & change.
it's always nice to learn from professionals in controlled environments... especially on a bike that isn't yours :P
