Agree with a lot of the feedback given in the above posts. Go to an empty lot on a Sunday morning and practice accelerating hard through gears 1,2,3 then getting stopped as quickly as possible. Try 0-100 then 100-0. Get used to using engine breaking to slow you down, downshifting while breaking...

Was also looking at this and the fz-07. Interested to hear opinions. Some reviews say the throttle response is abrupt and the suspension lacking. I've never rode one so looking for rider impressions.

I'll be on a ride up that way with 5-10 bikes. Going the opposite direction though. Should be at the top of the 507 around 9.

We made that run Sunday morning. It was a bit wet but the road is still fun. I'll keep an eye on this thread and tag along if you guys go.
