So much wrong in that article regarding how hard done by these people are. 1.6 million dollar homes, for people in an age group that have toddlers? I can't even imagine what a person is thinking if they are that tight on the monthly bills; what on earth would they do when a car needs replacing...
This is a freedom thing. Honestly, it is stupid to not wear a helmet BUT I highly doubt anyone here wears head to toe leather, chest protector, etc and only rides a 50cc trail bike in a closed parking lot. It's kinda comical that anyone would care if they wear helmets or not, and then climb on...
Hey everyone
I'm helping a journalist friend with a little project. Essentially they want to document the impact of traffic charges, insofar as the fines, driving restrictions, insurance implications, etc. The premise would allow people to submit a self narrated video of existing or resolved...
Just curious as I didn't see anything on your webpage; in your Signature it says trailer rentals, is that available? I am doing a trip down to Sturgis and I'm looking to rent for a week and a half.
+1 on solo rides. I always tour solo, furthest I've gone alone is the Cabot trail. Weekend/day trips riding with anyone else + short riding days from my experience. I just don't like following or being followed; I'd rather have my mind clear to enjoy the scenery
So it looks like we're going to make an adjustment on the date - don't care about the rally anyway, so it'll be better to go on a different week altogether to be able to tour around. Only thing now is finding a suitable trailer to rent; our deal fell through. Two full size cruisers, so the hunt...
Shaking off the winter crap with thoughts of my trip this summer. Planning on doing Sturgis, but I'll probably only be at the rally for a day. Any suggestions on camping/cheap accomodations in neighboring areas not caught up in the event? I'm setting aside 10 days for the trip, so I'll have a...
Re: Minor changes to getting disclosure, why you should fight your ticket
Resurrecting an old thread! I hadn't come across this specifically while searching; I got my disclosure today and all they sent me was an info pamphlet and a spec sheet for a stalker radar gun. My trial is next week, so...
I'm doing a quick little overnight trip next week to Allegany state park, then to Sussquehannock forest. Any stops, roads sights, or camping areas recommended? TIA
It's Just different. I had some metric cruisers years ago too, and the harley just seems better built, less plastic-like too. It doesn't try to be anything else mostly. Handles very well for the type of bike that it is. I like the feel that you can just hang back, enjoy the ride and the engine...
Price check, 8 grand in the right ballpark for this bike with the extras I got? Pipes, bars, brand new forward controls, windshield, stock bits, extra chrome
