    Trailering Bikes Across Boarder

Should be no issue; I've travelled many times over with someone else's vehicle. I just tell them who's it is and they don't care. As long as it's not stolen, and particularly if it's a relatives they should pass no issue

OOPS! Not charges I'd want to be dealing with

I have a vague memory of a relatively recent similar case - a TTC worker from Niagara was with a couple other bikes riding the same way, and similarly he was followed in the air and arrested on a dead end street in Hamilton. Dangerous driving charge, one year suspension of license, etc. That's...

How much would you be willing to pay for insurance?

Makes me appreciate no longer being in the sport segment. ZX6 was 1500, my KLR is 500 a year. In Hamilton no less

How much would you be willing to pay for insurance?

I've never paid more than 1500 a year, EVER. No matter what bike, I'd say that's my limit. Too many other things I could do for north of 2 grand a year

    Caught With No Insurance

Read the thread. Sounds like it was an honest error based on what the OP has stated. Wouldn't be the first time someone made a mistake like that, hence the need to see a judge to look at everything. Still a dumb mistake, but quite a long way from intentionally driving dirty.

Tips for riding with young passengers

My little guy was riding with me at 7. I still have a really nice armored jacket and barely used motocross boots. PM if interested; I'll give you my email address so I can send pics

After what I saw tonight, I think I'm going to sell my SS

Many moons ago, I had a ZX6 after many other bikes. I have never, ever had more attention from the police than I had on that bike (not due to riding habits). In fact, in 27 years of riding, the ONLY ticket I ever got on a bike is a 15 over I got while riding my wifes CBR 125, lol. My old ninja...

Half the asking price, but I'll pay cash!!

Kinda missed my point completely. No problem dickering, either in email or in person but if I'm listing something at say 4000, and I get an email email offering 2 grand, that generally confirms that the offer is coming from a window-licking butthole from hell. Your time will be wasted at every...

Sturgis 2018 who wants to go?

Nope, this'll be my first time. If I'm lucky, I might go again at the end of the summer

Half the asking price, but I'll pay cash!!

I usually accept every lowball offer I get, and schedule a meeting I never plan to attend. Anyone who opens with an offer without any viewing/discussion is full of **** anyway

Sturgis 2018 who wants to go?

Looking forward to seeing Sturgis this year. I'm booked for the end of June, so no rally but I'm betting on some killer roads.

    Fury, Crossbones or Thunderbird Storm

I know these easily hit 100k without issue with good maintenance. Another buddy of mine has one at around 95000 and the motor has never had an issue. Certainly no more maintenance than anything japanese.

    Fury, Crossbones or Thunderbird Storm

I know the owner and the bike - this guy does killer maintenance, long time rider and loves his bikes. Won't go wrong on it

Yeah just read that; this past February he was eligible to apply for full parole. Not like that'll happen but who knows

    Humboldt Broncos

Not to jack the thread, but without assuming the fault in this incident, we could benefit from not looking at these events from a blood-thirsty, retribution eye, but looking at the harder questions on how to make real changes. The OPP have reported a marked increase in vehicular related deaths...

Sellers unwilling to sell their bikes certified.. frustrating

I'd only ever want my own guy to do the safety anyway. What if the seller went to a crappy tire to get one done? Obviously I know enough to check the big stuff on my own before buying, but I'd really be nervous about a guy selling me a bike WITH a safety if I wasn't familiar with whoever did it...
