When I had the 1000km service on my CBR250 the dealership did not do the valve work on the bike, even if the manual says it's needed. I asked them about it and they said it's not needed, and that it's a 4 hr job. The cost for the service was ~$190 I sold that bike at 14k km and it was running...

2123 rpm is low, I would shift to 1st, but the bike should not die, that's for sure. Have it checked.

Having had a Nikon D70s, Nikon D200, Nikon D700 and doing some pro photo for a while, I now moved to u4/3 and it's amazing. For travel the Oly 14-150 is golden.

Haha...I did the same last November...picked up my Daytona 675 from GP, hit the 401 (coming off of a cbr250r) and got scared sh**less by the insane acceleration and the fact that the speedo figure was well into uncharted territory for me on a bike...

No love for Daytona 675? Plenty of low-mid torque, intoxicating sound? Just throwing it out there...:)

From what I know location has a very small impact on motorcycle insurance. It has GREAT impact on auto insurance though.
