Which is one of the main reasons I purchased the vehicle. No car in it's size or even a car period tends to have the same tried and true reviews when it comes to towing. In North America they actually state that the TDi/DSG combo should not be towed with but in Europe its a different story...
I'd disagree pretty much everyone I talked to before buying it and still talk to now are the same. As soon as you are out of warranty do a DPF delete and tune it. Sure you are emitting more emissions but the fuel economy, reliability and power all go up. Straight up your the first person I...
^correct on this obstacle. But due to the fact there are a million more 2drs out there the longer wheel base on the 4dr really come in handy most of the time.
Yup stock they are incredibly capable.
That's an off shoot of the trail the rest is pretty tame. Vids and pics never do anything justice as a few people over the year have rolled on that obstacle in the vid. Our shop Jeep in that vid has about 30k into it so not too bad for something you can...
Here is a photo gallery of last weeks run with katva and the ofsc to give you an idea of a level 3 trail (Stock Rubicon or slightly modfied other). For newbie runs we typically divide into two or three groups. One group would be modified and if they choose Rubicons and the other would be...
Fluids cheap as you are learning parts are not.
I'm willing to bet that it's past its service interval and unless you have the ability to measure viscosity and PPM then a visual inspect is useless.
No worries folks. I love seeing new people get into the hobby. It's how to do it without coming across as a trail nazi that is difficult. 4WD vehicles tend to be easily targeted when it comes to environmental and land based issues. If we can all make our best attempt possible to provide a...
I have had and still have a few different Jeeps over the years. Straight up there is no where you should be legally within the city limits. If you want to get into a good organization then I would highyl suggest joining the OF4WD. They run events and provide trail maps for most of the...
Don't drive like a ********* but I do drive a TDi Wagon. It's equipped with the DSG and loves to cruise in the left lane above the regular speed. Not too sure why but it does.
According to radio ads (Rock 95) they have hired the chief mechanic from Machine Racing and setup a new service department off site. In all honesty I never heard anything good or bad about the old one but news like that would lead me to believe they wanted to change the image.
Highlands East were talking about amending that bylaw recently to follow the change in the HTA Also not sure about the five points statement as we have actually been given more access to land use in that area.
Nope perfect record (knock on wood). I think it's just the fact I was paying around $60 a month for a SS which is really good. Another likely reason is the cruiser since it is newer is also worth more money which would effect replacement costs.
Yup my insurance actually doubled when I went from a 600CC SS to my current 1500CC Cruiser with State Farm. That being said they are still cheaper then everyone else I called.
