    Honda parts

I hate ready honda, i bought a bike there last year and they held it for 3 weeks because they were "too busy" to PDI it. This year I was going to buy another bike from them, and when they were 800 more than anyone else, they told me they dont need my money and I should buy it somewhere else. I...

Which "crush" washer? Copper, fiber, rubber

Nice! I wish I had that many K's on mine, even after a 600 km round trip im only at 1200 and I commute every day on it :( Just not enough free time this year to get out and ride it, hoping to get some time in the fall. I was looking for an aluminum one but surprisingly they didnt have any. I'll...

Which "crush" washer? Copper, fiber, rubber

So I did an oil change on my bike the other day, and encountered yamaha's indented crush washer. Apparently, theres no leeway on replacing these guys, because its leaking like crazy right now. I cant get back to the dealer for a couple weeks due to my work schedule, so I went to canadian tire to...

Can we legalize lane filtering yet?

Ideally youre supposed to run out the merge lane getting up to speed, merging in when you can. But in practice, even if I leave 2 or 3 car lengths in front of me, people will speed past and then stop at the end of the lane, rather than merging in 50 feet early. Then they merge in doing maybe...

Can we legalize lane filtering yet?

Haha its true, i remember there being lots of traffic last time I was in california, but I feel like our traffic is way worse. I asked my friend who moved down there what he thought, and he pointed out something I never realised, "Only in toronto do people stop their cars completely on a...

Disagreeing with feminist might land you in jail!!!

Whats on trial here is what actually constitutes harassment. Does rebroadcasting someone elses public broadcast count as harassment? If you posted "I'm gay" and I quoted your post, would that be harassment? Today, no reasonable person could say yes. If this guy is found guilty, the legal answer...

Disagreeing with feminist might land you in jail!!!

I read another article about this, what ended up getting him charged was retweeting one of her posts that had her location in it. She had asked him to stop reading her tweets, and then she tweeted something like "Im at XXX bar with my friends!" and he retweeted that. She claimed she was fearful...

What engine oil should I use?

Rotella is good too. I use the Rotella non-synth in my vintage bikes, because I find it keeps the temp down on the aircooleds. But for my modern bike, I use royal purple, only because its purple. But if someone handed me a random bottle of any synthetic motorcycle oil, I would use it, theyre...

What engine oil should I use?

Anything you want as long as its made for motorcycles. Motul is fine, the synthetic is expensive as **** though.

Kid shuts down PSN, XBoxLive, SWAT prank calls and other stuff

The fact he doesnt have remorse is the painful part. Like, I understand european justice is about rehabilitation, not revenge, but to rehabilitate someone dont they need to feel some remorse for their crimes? Meanwhile the dipshit kid from north york who was involved in this still hasnt been...

2009 ninja 250 break in question

The cnc machine is a robot, its programmed from a plan, its not some guy turning handles and cranks to drill oil channels and bolt holes. Lasers are for tolerance measuring during and after the process, not cutting. Basically the point I'm getting at is in the last 50 years we have gone a long...

    Yamaha R3 or CBR500/CB500

Yeah you'd think so with 180cc's more, but its only 10kmh an hour faster (179kmh top speed for R3, 189kmh for cbr) and they take almost the same amount of time to get there. Redline on the CBR is 8500 (9100 limiter), the R3's redline is 12000 (limiter somewhere around 12,250). Those extra...

2009 ninja 250 break in question

Yep, especially if the oils been changed. Anything special they might have put in at the factory is long gone. "break in" is pretty much pointless these days. Engines today are built by robots with lasers, not old dudes with metal lathes and drill presses. They already ring the bike out at the...

    Yamaha R3 or CBR500/CB500

I just bought an R3 a couple weeks ago, after wanting the CBR500 since last summer. I could have got the CBR cheaper through a honda employee using their discount, and I still went with the R3. I've only ever owned hondas, but the R3 is just a better bike imo. Better riding position, better...

    best way to secure bolts??

I wouldnt recommend red loctite for accessories like lights. Red loctite "needs" heat to loosen it, so using it on bits that have plastic in them is not a great idea.
