    Rev match, clutch wear question

Yes? The advice "Dont do X in corners" is to prevent beginners from wiping out when they lock up their wheels. If you need to shift, you shift. If you need to brake, you brake.

    Ontario cycle salvage

whoa what happened? They had a closing forever sale last fall. Did someone buy it? Looking at the website it looks like ralph is still there, maybe he changed his mind.

    Rev match, clutch wear question

Dump the clutch. Because we know how to work a manual transmission? How are you going to get the wheels slow enough while downshifting with the clutch pulled in?

How dangerous is riding in the GTA?

How many close calls do you have when youre driving? If you have like 4 or 5 a week you are gonna be in for a bad time. I find people who say driving in the city is dangerous are terrible drivers, 0 awareness. If you arent paying attention while riding you are gonna get crunched. I can count the...

    Increased vibration (numb hands!)

Sounds to me like its probably a missing balance weight on one of the tires. Cracked fairing definitely wouldnt cause the bike to vibrate hard enough to shake bolts and mirrors loose unless you ride around on the highway at 200kmh.

    Ontario cycle salvage

So now there are no places within 100km of the city to get used parts? That sucks.

    Shell Gas Station Policy

It is policy at most gas stations, hell, at most businesses, that you need to have your face visible if you want service. Whether they choose to enforce it or not is up to them. Think of it like the "No shirt, no shoes, no service" policy. If you dont like it, go somewhere else.

    1974 CB125 engine noise

Your carbs are set up wrong. Sounds like its too rich based on the choke actually choking it out and the low rpm stumbling. What is it idling at right now? Try dialing in the idle with the slide screw, and then fine tuning it with the pilot screw. Check the needle position, it should be set to...

    Age discrimination and severance

If hes doing his job properly, nothing they can do other than lay him off, which means he will be entitled to severance, or "force" him to retire by saying that they are giving him the choice between retirement and being laid off. They cant rehire for his job though if they do that. If his...

    Non-parking zone

If youre parking in a lot with an attendant, ask them if you can park on the sidewalks or in the "no parking zones" if you really feel the need to be different. Otherwise just park in a spot like everyone else. If you park on the sidewalk you will eventually get towed, along with a fat ticket...

The rise of new riders and motovlogging

Theyre all terrible. 99% of them are unwatchable ****, with meme faces and screaming and pranks every 2 seconds, or the guy cant even ride a bike and crashes into something or falls off every other video. The other 1% are fine but I dont watch them because i find it pointless. Theres no fun in...

    K7 600 is sick :(

For a stator replacement I'd just go to rosey toes with the new part, it would cost like 100 bucks max. $200 dollars an hour shop time is getting raped, I cant think of a single shop in the city that has the balls to charge that, maybe a bmw or merc dealership.

    K7 600 is sick :(

Your battery is dead. People have already told you what is wrong, your regulator is bad and overcharged the battery. You dont need a "flexible screw driver" (which is a screw driver or socket extension with a flexible arm on it, you can get them at home depot, i saw one there last week), just...

    WTF near Dundas and Dixie

I just drive a piece of **** car. I used to care about my car a lot but then I start having to park downtown every day. In less than a year I had like 8 dings on my drivers side, a dent in the A pillar (how the ****?), 2 huge scrapes down the right side from people backing out, dented front and...

    Helmets for Round Heads

Cycleworld used to sell suomy, maybe give them a call and see if they have any of the Apex in stock? I got my vandal from there but that was 4 years ago, but I dont think suomy has any canadian distribution now. But, I'll tell you that Shark helmets hurt my head, arai hurts my head, shoei hurts...

Any older riders get better quotes than Wawanesa for super sports?

Yeah, All State is the way to go... They beat wawanesa by like 700 bucks. I have to take renters insurance with them to get a bike insured, but I'm only going to pay like 25 a month for that so its well, well worth it. Thanks dudes, the dream of a super sport is alive again.

    Helmets for Round Heads

I have a round head, suomy is going to be the best you can get. Size 1 up, even if you have an old suomy helmet, their new line is straight up 1 size smaller than everyone else. So if you wear medium arai, get a large suomy. The new models are insanely good, price will range from 250 USD to 400...

Insurance Ninja 300 abs Under 19

Yeah for sure. I got all my equipment for the safety course for under 70 bucks. 50 bucks on a helmet and 10 dollars at value village for boots/jacket, 5 dollars at home depot for work gloves. Everyone already has at least one pair of jeans. Its a safety course, not a fashion show, no need to...
