    Reading spark plugs

Alloy does expand more then steel, but then steel will heat and cool slower. Also remember that you are expanding in every direction not just out. Personally I have never had an issue with plugs in a hot engine other then burning my fingers. Even with old iron heads.

    New To Riding...A Few Questions

Bikes can get frozen, just like most other vehicles, without any harm. There are more then a few of us that actually ride almost all year round (not counting the crazy ice racers or ADV riders). As for bike types what is post above is good guide. Cruiser you lean a bit back, sportbike you lean...

    Street bike on the track?

You can load it by yourself. I always have. Larger pickups are a pain in the ass however. Your insurance does not cover you on the track. You bin it you are fixing it on your own dime. It is very very addicting.

How long does it take a new rider to progress to a litre bike?

Of course. The pure purpose built race bikes live in the gp world. The sports bikes are trickle down tech. My track bike is getting old but if you look at it compared to a street bike made race bike you see just how bloated street bikes are even after conversion. I would love to see more HRC...

Is Brampton gonna start a war?

I work in Brampton and the commute is a challenge for this very reason. Close second to pacific mall. On job sites I see deep dislike for Brampton truck drivers, most often not because of what colour their skin is, but because of their piss poor driving ability, even when they show up sober. I...

granite counter top anyone done it?

Mine are butcher block and polished concrete. Personally I like the look more then granite. If you do go granite, as others have said, it is cheaper to have a pro do it.

Getting out of the supersport scene...

It is. Still like my wee. I'm 5'11, 185#. Tour 2 up with bags without issues. I put around 30k km a year on it with only regular maintenance and replacement of wear parts. A plus is I'm not terribly worried about someone stealing it.

    First Bike Maintenance Questions

As others have said, find the shop manual for the bike. Either buy a copy or use your google skills. Took me about 30 seconds to find a pdf of the service manual for your bike online. If you at all mechanically inclined have a bit of space to work and some good basic hand tools you can follow...
