    What's for dinner?

This time was all about trying out the new pan. Start off on the stove top and pan fry the salmon till it just starts to form a crust. Lift an edge to peak but don't flip it over. Then put the whole pan into the oven to cook thru the rest of the fillet. When you serve it, flip it over so the...

    What's for dinner?

They have a line of steel non-stick stuff. This pan might of had a black enamel coating. What ever it was, it was falling off and looked pretty ugly. The flap wheels got rid of it pretty quick.

    What's for dinner?

Pan fried salmon finished in the oven, stir fried peppers and onions, and rice. Trying out the garage sale pan. Lecreuset cast iron, with non-stick coating. They were getting rid of it b/c the coating was flaking off. I took the rest of the coating off with an angle grinder and flap wheels...

I take it off as soon as I get off the bike. I trust leaving it on the bike when I'm out of GTA.

Anyone wear a Teiz one piece suit?

I have the original Lombard suit. Super easy on/off even with boots on. Just have to be able to bend over and start zipper at the ankle. It's has lots of vents and channels the air to keep you cool as long as you're moving. I wore it for 90% of my rides because it's so simple and comfortable...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

How do you count plugging it in every night, 365 nights a year? Or are you not supposed to "top it off" every night? I commute 100 km per week plus weekend trips. So I would be good for 2~3 weeks between fill ups, which is what I'm doing with gas right now. I can't see myself NOT plugging it...

    Furnaces... Damn them!

This doesn't sound right. Turning FAN on should only turn on the blower, with no heat. Only way to get heat with FAN switch is if you accidentally connected the heat terminal "W" wire to the fan terminal "G". If this is the case, then all you have to do is sort out your wiring connections...

    News: G&M, B.C.'s Electra Meccanica 3 wheeled electric car/motorcycle

This would be perfect for the wife if it had a pillion seat. 99% of her driving is single. But do want the option to pickup a passenger. Maybe if they rigged up a rumble seat in the back trunk! She also doesn't drive on any highways. Ideal commuter car for her and the small size would be great...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Currently: 8000km/yr Averaging 12L/100km from Jeep doing short drive Annual gas: 960L x $1.20/L= $1152 ($96/mo) Current annual lease vehicle cost: $6000 Total annual cost to have Jeep is about $7000 Looks like potential annual gas savings could be about $1000. So what can I get and operate...
