DRZ-s 400 - what would be a good deal for...

I noticed a little extra noise at slower speeds (50km/h or so), but at cruise speed, never really noticed. It certainly wasn't the most comfortable ride, but quite tolerable.

DRZ-s 400 - what would be a good deal for...

Works fine. I did it for a couple years. 2013 klx250s with motoz tractionators. DOT knobby that wears well on road (within reason), and as gnarly as you need off-road. As long as the commute isn't 100k each way, or something ridiculous, it'll be fine.

    Reasonably Priced Offroad Thread

Try and find yourself a bike based on a MX platform, but built for trails. KTM's, husabergs, Huskies etc... are awesome bikes. Parts aren't as readily available though. Yamaha's WR, Suzuki's RMX, and Honda's CRFX are built for the woods. Wider ratio transmission's, skid plates, and slightly...

Cop waits over an hour and a half to ticket us.

Absolutely worth it. Your plate needs to be visible. If it isnt, you're an idiot. We all know the rules by now. Whether you like the rules or not, stop breaking the fricking law, and whining about it when you get caught. If something else came up, he's got a radio. He'll know if he needs to go...

RE: Dirtbike Trail Riding - Georgetown and Simcoe area

Re: Dirtbike Trail Riding - Georgetown and Simcoe area This. I've begged and pleaded to ride the small pockets I've been able to source. I've scoured the Acton/Georgetown/Milton area for LEGAL, public riding spots......they just don't exist.

    Any Arborists on here?

The chance of getting Toronto Hydro to help, is very slim. If the tree is accessible from a bucket truck, they might help this century, but doubtful. My understanding is the tree needs to be down quite soon. I'd be more inclined to go with a more locally respected tree company, as apposed to...

going to CUBA- your input required asap--Havana or Varadero

I've never had customs issues, but, I'm white as a ghost!! I went on a similar jeep tour that you speak of. The cave is very cool, but packed with tourists...hard to even jump in the fresh water pool at the bottom, without clipping peeps! I found it to be terrible. The catamaran ride is fun...

going to CUBA- your input required asap--Havana or Varadero

If you're after a more cultural experience, go to Havana. Very cool city! Lots of hustlers though. Varedero has better beaches, and a more laid back vibe. The best beaches are along the cosway. The jeep tour is ok, but nothing to write home about. We had a better experience renting a jeep from a...

    TCX Ducati riding boots

Picked these up with my Ducati bucks, when I bought my new bike. Size 10 US, EU 44. They're practically brand new. Still smell like new! LOL I wore them twice, for a total of a half an hour tops. They're a half size to big for me. Can't get used to the shift feel. They're very comfortable and...

    Trail tours, horrible experience!

To be clear, I've never been there, or have any affiliation with them what so ever. I just know they're very highly regarded. I think had you paid your deposit 2 weeks in advance, there likely wouldn't be an issue. By your own account, you were scrambling last minute to get your information to...

    Trail tours, horrible experience!

I've heard nothing but good things about trail tours. They have fantastic reviews online. The people who run it, are passionate motorcycle enthusiasts, and are very knowledgeable. I'm not entirely sure how they run their bookings, but it sounds to me like you tried to scramble last minute to get...

TRAIL RIDING AREA $25 / day

I agree with you 100%. The problem is, they're charging a premium price, for a tiny amount of trails. They need to get the trails finished, or in the mean time, charge a fraction of that for use. At 5 bux less than ganaraska, they're asking me to pay top level prices, for mediocre service. They...
