"And we should also make clear that while consumer versions of the Explorer are also equipped with the exact same powertrains, they’re not being recalled."
Awesome
I swear there was a discussion like a decade or more ago on this forum about these very stands, because the operation of the front stand was just as mystifying then.
The 675SS has fully adjustable KYB forks and a preload & rebound adjustable KYB shock. Most other middleweights DON'T have this... and this one seems to be cheaper than most. Interestingly it has TPMS!
The rims are weirdly narrow - 3 x 17 front, 4 x 17 rear.
The primary one that ended the bike for me is that I strongly suspect it spun a bearing. I sold it to someone (cheaply, with full disclosure) who supposedly rebuilt it and was happy with it afterwards. I have no motorcycle mechanic recommendations of any kind - I wish I did.
I suppose I have to...
That got me even more curious. After digging around I found this: https://www.soloy.com/uploads/9/0/6/9/90692509/s2060a-wing-mount-camera-pohs.r2.uncontrolled.pdf
-Max airspeed limited to 140kts (small loss from 151-161kts)
-Flaps limited to 20 degrees (limited from 30-40)
-Requires aileron...
I didn't watch the video until you mentioned the mounting. I'm neither a pilot nor an aerospace engineer, but doesn't hanging something that big on just one wing adversely affect the stall/spin characteristics of the plane?
It is bait, absolutely. He can't be making a profit on it though... like I doubt a million views covers a crate of 7.62x51 & a rolling whatever that is. I guess it's nice to subsidize your ammo costs?
Interestingly, while trying to see if anyone on the internet had already named exactly what...
For the record I think it's pathetic that H-D was influenced in any way by this nontroversy. That said looks like somebody didn't get the memo in time.
Started off like this - "Cheap suspension, cheap brakes - good, they didn't use unnecessarily flashy parts to keep costs down and it's EIGHTEEN THOUSAND DOLLARS??"
Also that dashboard is literally embarrassing. I would be embarrassed by it if I was riding this around
You know, this is a bit of dragging up now-ancient history, but what kills me the most about that is consider what version of the V-Rod is most interesting for "those people". I'd say it'd be the VRSCR, right?
They made that for two years! Then spent the next ten years marketing worse versions...
After reading the article... I don't hate this? They can talk the talk, at least. I doubt it will come to much though - I certainly don't think it's going to split the Conservative vote. The unpopularity of Erin O'Toole I think was a demonstration that they are not interested in "compromise"...
