    Supercorsa SP's in the rain?

Np, man. Good points raised all around. If its raining, I'll just sit it out - not worth the needless risk with my street bike. Lesson learned: Next time, I'll pay the $20 bucks extra at the gate.

    Supercorsa SP's in the rain?

Lol. Didnt say I wanted to do it. I'll either throw on the Q2s, see if I could source some rains before the wknd or see if I can switch to sun instead :)

    Supercorsa SP's in the rain?

I thought the SC was considered the DOT race tire and the SP was considered a regular street tire? In any event, they have the same tread pattern so it sounds like a bad idea and I should swap em out just in case....

    Supercorsa SP's in the rain?

Im heading to TMP (prepaid) this saturday and the forecast is calling for 90% probability of precipitation. I currently have supercorsa SP's on my R1 and I cant imagine them as being any good in the rain based on lack of sipes. I also have a set of unmounted Q2's kicking around at home. Would...

    Tough Mudder

Its the same as any event; if your goal is just to complete it, its doable by most. If you want to do it in a reasonable amount of time, then that's where prep is necessary. I would say just winging it is more of an option for the shorter events like the spartan sprint, warrior dash etc.... the...

    Tough Mudder

11am Saturday heat. Training four days a week since January: running (trails over varying elevations), high intensity interval training, cycling and trx. IMHO, running (particularly up and down a grade - not many portions are flat) should be your main focus.

    anyone have carb sync tool?

Ive tried that in the past but without some sort of restrictors in the lines, the oil levels jump up and down quite a bit. I ended up splitting Morgan Carb-tune tool with a buddy. Works great and no fluids to mess around with.

Fair price for shim under bucket valve adjustment (all out/cams removed)

Must be a yamaha thing. My R1 also has 26K mile valve check intervals.

    Running.. ugghh

I got confirmation from the organizers that they changed the course layout last minute - it was actually 7k, not 5k as advertised on the website.

    Running.. ugghh

Im definitely not a super fast runner by any means but I was getting held up quite a bit by the slower people in the heat that started 30 minutes before me. Most of the top times were achieved by ppl starting at the 9AM heat. I think I could have gotten down to high 30 min's in heat 1. By...

    Running.. ugghh

55 min is pretty good considering all the waiting around. Starting at the front is the way to go - just keep in mind a) the guy with the fire hose comes out a minute before the start and aims directly at your face or other, um, vulnerable regions while standing 6 ft away and b) you reallly...

    Running.. ugghh

What was your time? I finished 10th in my heat (1PM) and 152 overall out of 4600. Next year, Im going to register for the first heat so that Im not running into stragglers from the heat ahead of me, which cost me a couple of minutes from standing around waiting for people ahead of me to get...
