Podium finish in which race? What kind of 10k times (non obstacle) are you running?

Played with the track bike for the first time since Jennings GP in February. Did an oil change, mounted a steering damper and swapped out the stock tokico calipers for a set of Nissin calipers from a newer ZX14. Need to rewire the brake hardware, but otherwise I am ready for TMP on the 18th.

Ran on Saturday at the 9am start time. It was FREEZING. Finished in 2:05.

Ive been swapping one shorai between my track bike and street bike (im too cheap to buy one for each lol) for the last two years. It has never failed to start the bike, hasnt required any charging and provides a nice drop in weight (7 lbs vs oem). Im very happy with the purchase.

I want to alter the angle of the clip ons on my zx6rr track bike. The oem clip ons have a single clamp bolt around the tube and a bolt locating the clip ons to the upper triple clamp. Are there any issues with simply removing the locating bolt and setting bars to the desired position? I am aware...

I'll add that if its going to break, it will do so the day before a track day, right after all local stores are closed. In my experience, chain tools are one of those things where it doesnt pay to cheap out.

Will the cans from an 04-06 fit? If so, I have a pair that have been modded with a&r baffles in them that are of no use to me.....

Actually its about half a lb difference between the erv3 and the EK chain (3.4 vs 3.7 lbs per 100 links), assuming 120 link. In no way am I saying anyone here would notice the difference, but if you are changing the chain anyways on a race bike, might as well go for the lightest one. It all...
