Agreed - If I get more than 5-6k out of the rear I'll be pretty happy. If you arent riding aggressively with this tire they are a complete waste.

Supercorsa SP's came on the R1 I bought over the winter. Extremely fast warm up and awesome feel. Based on the sticky compound and shallow tread, I dont expect them to last very long or be any good in the rain. They are perfect for my purposes except for the price ($$$).

For a track bike that has fluid changed often (i.e. before every event in some cases), this is less of a concern.
