I shipped two bikes to San Jose in December.
It was last minute so I dropped them off in Brockport, NY and I did not have to deal with customs and brokers.
Bikes were delivered to the door in San Jose and all was fine...
There was option from GTA for similar price as shipping from US but I did...
GF and I are flying to San Jose on May 22 to get our bikes (shipped over the winter and we went to Cali in late December for 10 days).
Plan is to ride all the way back and we have about 10 days to do it. We have very rough idea of the route and we hope that going
south we can have less of the...
Actually government is forcing the recall.

Problem for me is that recall is Nov 2013 for 2007 motorcycle, where people are complaining about it for very long time.
I mean there are recalls and then...
I do not get it why BMW took so many years to admit to this problem?
This is one really scary issue and to read how BMW was treating it put me off the bike more than anything else.
I really don't get sentiment "my rear wheel seized up but hey it is a great bike go get one".
BMW makes great bikes...
I was looking at 2007 last year and research I did made me stay away from the bike.
There is a recall now actually, this was released after I gave up on it already.

Vest might be the better choice. It works with any jacket you have and that way it will be much more versatile than this jacket. I never saw it but just because company makes good air bag system that does not make them authority on jackets. I buy best fitting jacket I can afford and put vest on...
I owned vest for few years now. It is high vis, it comes on top of any other protection you have so it is not taking anything away. It will not inflate if you try to walk away. I never had it activate so I can not comment on function but I I'm glad I have it. I think it is good investment and...
I had no issues at all. It was about 100 Euro for one month for green card. I will be shipping two bikes next summer and more I look at it more it seems that air cargo is best way. Ship is slow and unreliable and it is destination expenses can be pricey.
I got mine here http://greencard.mototouring.com/ There is cheaper place, some American running biker hotel in Romania, he has few amazing around the world threads on adv rider. He did it on really old bikes. I can not look for it now...
You can purchase green card online for Canadian bike. I did it few years ago. They will ask for vin and few other things and it can be mailed in advance. It is really simple and it gives you liability insurance for period of time.
Don't think it was plaintext but some hashes are easier to crack than others. Also having crappy password pretty much guarantees it will be discovered.
IMHO anyone running any web site software that is popular MUST stay on top with all security updates.
I do not know if that was done here, it will not always work.
Gamble is not to get compromised in the time before there is a fix for the exploit, released and installed.
If owner is not on top...
So you use different email for everything? How many email addresses do you have?
Data leaks like what is happening here are not acceptable.
This forum is hacked almost on regular basis.
It happens to anyone but after once it needs to be locked down.
