That is all correct except you do not need road insurance. Once you do all this applies. Bike is not on the road and all this pro rated stuff does not need to apply.

You can have fire and theft insurance. People are complicating things. While it does not make sense to do it in the middle of ownership it makes perfect sense for first winter. Just make sure that insurance company understand that bike is not road insured for first while.

Suzukisavage.com is awesome resource for S40 . Best upgrade you can do on that bike is fork brace. It makes bike handle much better. And you can put sportster seat on it if I remember correctly :-)

I did not use mine but GF did few times on slow speed tip overs and it deployed before she hit the ground. I think it is will worth it. Consider ordering extra cartridge as shipping raises the price later.
