    Honda vfr 800 intereceptor

I ride an 09 myself and I'm a big fan, most comfortable bike I've ridden to date. I don't think you'll get a huge performance boost over a 600ss but if you want a sport bike thats better outfitted for touring than this is your bike.

    Michelin Pilot Road 4's

I was running metzeler m5's before and I think the pr4's are about just as good in the twisties. The m5's were great but they squared off so fast it wasn't funny.

    Kevlar jeans

I got a pair of the bull-its for $49.98 from royal, I had to go 3 sizes up and then shrink in the wash to fit my thighs properly but they worked out.

    Michelin Pilot Road 4's

I can't recommend these tires enough. I've done about 7000km on them so far, a little over 1000km in heavy rain and about 1000km in the twisties in PA. The tires are pretty much still mint without the usual flattening in the centre from heavy slabbing. They have tons of traction in the twisties...

Cancelling trip plans due to weather?

I ppostponed my last trip because of weather and it ended up being beautiful and it was miserable on the dates I rescheduled on, its a crap shoot.

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Re: really? reallyyy? I was riding in Muskoka and a guy came up on me pretty fast even though I might've been a little over the limit myself, I moved to the left tire track and waved him past. Then a minute later a group of them came up on me and before I had a chance to move over they just...

    Touring with leathers vs textiles

So I'm really impressed with this Dainese textile jacket. It really doesn't really feel like I'm wearing anything, its actually kind of unsettling. The D-Dry liner is nice but makes the jacket a sweat box when its hot/humid. With the liner in the jacket is the warmest I've ever been on the...

    Touring with leathers vs textiles

Any examples of what you keep in there? I'm really curious...I could never understand why anyone would need all those pockets that come on touring jackets on a motorcycle...I could understand if you didn't have any sort of luggage at all but otherwise most sport tourers have saddlebags and a top...

    Converting 636 to a cafe/fighter? Hard?

If you don't know what you're doing with this kind of build you will have a hell of a hard time reselling when it comes time, streetfighter conversions usually mean the bike was dropped or damaged and the owner didn't want to fix it properly....kind like the situation you're in now I'd fix it...

    Honda NM4...WTF??

Looks like a la-z-boy on wheels...I don't get how you have any control of a bike when you're sitting back like that.

    Dainese zippers / Opti zips

Does anyone know where I can get my hands on Dainese zippers for jacket-pants connection? I know they are 71cm or 28" Opti brand zippers and I found some on ebay, but I don't know what type of zipper it is (spiral, metal, brass, plastic etc) or the correct gauge. Absolute worst case I'm just...

    GTAM Member review/feedback

Kijiji isn't best buy. Its not uncommon for sellers to overestimate the value of their items for sale which necessitates haggling to reach a deal mutually agreeable to both parties. I don't think haggling is the problem as much as lowballing, or people just generally acting like complete...

As much as there are alot of morons buying stuff online I can't agree that its due to a race or culture issue. I've been through a ton of transactions on kijiji over the years, I can give you a couple of examples of unpleasant 'white people'. One of the most accomodating and helpful guys I have...

    Movement alarm

I find my gorilla alarm kills my battery and just results in a ton of false alarms with the motion detector installed. I also use disc locks and a cover. Sent from my SGH-I337M using Tapatalk

    Touring with leathers vs textiles

So I got a Dainese textile jacket (Xantum D-Dry) and textile pants (new air drake tex). Both are really comfortable, more subtle and fit really well. Its nothing like the crunchy joe rocket stuff I tried on a couple of years back that made me feel like I was getting ready to play in the snow...
