There is a company in Belleville, CrossBorder Solutions They can look after everything for you. They did a truck for me that I bought on eBay Took him the bill of sale and 2 weeks later I had the truck.( it came from Texas) I just had to take it to CDN Tire for RIV inspection.

You do not have to pay tax in New York. You sign a declaration that you are from out of state. Same for Texas and PA.

THe RIV inspection has to be at canadian tire. If the bike is used you will need a safety and you can get that done anywhere.

Primmum told me that if you are an existing customer they take your bill of sale, cert. of origin, part 1 customs form and then send it to their underwriter for approval. BUT this is Primmum so who knows what the truth is. I do know they love to take our money every month.

It could be the certificate of origin that you're talking about. Surely if you went a little further away from the border you could find a dealer that wouldn't charge for it.
