Why aren't ATVs allow on the streets?

You can in Italy and spain as well, maybe France also. I was surprised when I saw a bunch of sport quad downtown Roma with the plate and turning light on it, it looks awersome :D

Anybody else not happy with Mother Nature?

A soon as I have my new front tire installed I'll ride under that rain. For now, it's parked. I'm not going outside with less than 1mm of thread on my front tire....I guess we'll have a ****** summer!

    Wtf

Using more often your motorcycle won't help you to save money...Until now, I spent 3 000$ on my bike (insurance, maintenance) and 3 518$ on my car (insurance, maintenance) I'm not calculating the monthly payment of 170$ for my bike neither the 210$/month for my car....so, if gas is too...

Following the manufacturer recommended break in technique will NOT save your engine

Break in procedure from a honda shop in which one of my friend worked: Turn on the engine, rev it at 3000rpm wait until the thermostat is full open shut down the engine, flush the oil, put new oil, ride it like you stole it. Just before going out of the factory, they "pre-break in" your engine...

Gas prices going up to $1.40 at midnight

Canada actually has contract with the US, in which we HAVE to sell them a minimum of barrel of oil everyday, even if we can't supply our self. It's going to hurt in around 6 years following that contract. BTW, I was in Spain 3 weeks ago and gas was cheaper over there! In France it was the same...

    lane splitting / filtering

If you don't know why lane splitting is illegal (and dangerous) pay yourself a flight to the city of Rome...Its easier to put lane splitting illegal than to make a rule for every single situation. Over there (rome) scooter and motorcycle are just going crazy on the road, around 90% of...

Good reason to avoid buying a condo.

If you don't like apartment style condo, go townhouse, at least, most of the time you get a garage in wich you can put your motorcycle so it doesn't get stolen after 3 days.

Tire changing: How much is too much?

Do it yourself then! From Ebay, its 120$+shipping to have a tire balancing, then you can build your own tire mount....and to remove the tire, just cut it down anyway you won't use it anymore. So for 200$ (or 3 tires changes) you have all your tools! It worth it specialy if you do around...

What's your new ride for 2011???

Me next "new" old-ride will be a VFR800A 2004. I didn't know what to choose between a triumph 675 and a vfr...the triumph is not really nice for long travelling. I'd like to own a street SS, but I hate StateFarm...

Oil change before or after winter ?????

Wow, that's way too overkill. Read your owner book. For my first bike, Kawasaki ex650r 2007, oil change was every 12 000km. If they say that, it's because its safe to do. I was doing it every 7 000km. Are you changing your car oil every 1000km also?
