Wear on top portion of drive chain rivets.

Looks like the way it was manufactured to me ….. To easy yr mind , put a dab of paint marker or something similar on it , after cleaning the end of the rivet and then ride it a few meters and see if it is scrubbed off....

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

Yes its is a bit brittle. Experience has shown there is a huge difference in quality of glue . The stuff at a real hobby store is usually fresher … I used to repair a one of those push in tabs that side panels used and it lasted for years .. BUT you do have to reinforce it well...

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

Trials , are you sure ? People used to use it to apply fg cloth to paddles and to seal up wounds . It hardens into acrylic plastic , a rando quote below .. Cyanoacrylate glue is actually an acrylic resin, not a traditional adhesive in the mold of water-based school glues. Some crafters or...

    Repairing cracks in fairings?

I use super glue from the hobby store , along with backing soda as filler/ harder. Cyanoacrylates harden almost instantly when dripped on baking soda. Put a tiny amount of baking soda in the crack and drip on the glue from the back. Then backup the repair with a little bit of...

    CSBK Grand Bend Pro Sportbike

Its cool they got it right in the end, but as a spectator I would have liked to have seen a restart , there was lots of time and a lot of people showed up for the show. Even if it was only for 5 or 6 laps , to make sure everyone was carrying enough fuel to make it …

    CSBK Grand Bend Pro Sportbike

Does it have anything to do with who they think was responsible for the red flag ? ….. It seems to open a can of worms ..like lead a lap past halfway , then fall down and win … Seems like a weird rule … I don't think anything was done on purpose this time , but it seems to open the...

Snapped a screw head - Drill extractor set?

Masonary bits can also be sharpened on the correct wheel... There is no correct answer here, a lot depends on the skill the individual doing the work . …… There does seem to be a slight consensus that drilling from the back side is of the answer … If the bolt is in there cross...

Snapped a screw head - Drill extractor set?

There is no good answer here... I'm thinking I would use a big enough drill that it wont twist off with out a lot of effort . Also hoping, time you get to the easy out you stop when you "feel it " and then the easy-out could possible be driven out from the back . I would expect a lot of...

Snapped a screw head - Drill extractor set?

What is the frame made of ? AL or Steel ? or maybe a casting ? I think some heat may be in order here . I have never seen a easy out used successfully without a ton of prep to the point the bolt was already loose. If in fact it is cross threaded nothing is going to save...

Bike suddenly died (EFI). Where to start?

If you replace the fuses and it starts, please be sure and check the voltage at the battery whens it's running... I suspect that voltage regulator is shot and is spiking the voltage... If that is the case it will eventually damage many things... I have seen it take out the battery and Ecu...
