Ok.. we invented the first smartphone anyone actually bought.. and I don't believe the simon even received email..it was an electronic organizer that make phone calls.

Not being able to type without looking at the keys is definitely a draw back of all touch screens.. but the accuracy of this keyboard once it has learned your typing style (meaning you shouldn't have to look at the screen much while typing) and it's sheer speed are supposed to make up for it...

yea, I can easily send/receive 300 emails in a day.. it needs to be top notch in that regard.. but I'm hearing the touch keyboard is really that good.. and the predictive/word flicking is actually faster for one handed typing them a physical keyboard.. so we'll see. I agree with this completely... the phone was over hyped going into launch.. people were touting it as the second coming of christ for some reason and the word revolutionary was thrown around a lot.. and I'm guilty of it too. The truth is what else can a smart phone really do? what else would...

I know.. isn't it awesome? My only real complaint is the march release in the US (not that I think RIM scratch that BLACKBERRY had any control over that.. but that's definitely what tanked the stock) I'm happy I get to pick mine up on Tuesday, and I'm confident those who don't panic and sell...

dumb enough? They are launching a brand new product on a brand new platform.. sure the add is a crazy amount of money, but it's a 30 second clip of their new product in front of MILLIONS of people, many of whom probably don't even know it exists.
