    EVOS Helmets???

If you don't care about the safety of your passenger, simply don't take one. If you want to buy a cheap helmet, look into the cheaper Bell, HJC, Scorpian, Icon helmets. It boggles my mind that you would even consider that brand.

    Installing grips

Dish soap with water will allow you to slide your grip on easily and once the water dries, they're on there good. They will not turn or get loose in the rain, I'm speaking based on experience. There are different methods, I'm aware of that, I'm just saying what worked for me.

I get it, you're excited to ride but...

I agree that cars will never get used to seeing us out on the road, but when it's single digit temperatures and they still have their heat on, they're even more oblivious. To each their own and we all have the freedom to do as we please, all I'm trying to say is just take it easy and ride safe...

I get it, you're excited to ride but...

I'm not disputing that, my car is practically "stored" for the season since I use my bike for almost everything. As I mentioned earlier, I put around 17,000 kilometres last season and I don't think I'll put on any less this year.

I get it, you're excited to ride but...

I was simply saying to take it easy and wait another week or two if at all possible. In no way, shape or form did I say that I am better than you or anyone else. I was jut sharing my experience. last season I managed to put around 17,000 kilometres. I love riding as much as the next guy but the...

I get it, you're excited to ride but...

I know we've had a long winter and obviously everyone is itching to ride. The season hasn't started yet and people are already crashing and getting injured. If you choose to ride in this weather, you have to be extra cautious. Cars are still not used to seeing us out there and all the salt, sand...

    Kapsco moto

I have a set of their Venom stands as well, they're cheap and they do the job but I don't trust them as much as I trust my Pitbulls. Brake pads? LOL not a chance in hell.

    Installing grips

If you have access to an air compressor, this would be the easiest way. Or some dish soap and and water, soak the grips in them and slide them over the clip-on bars. Give it some time to dry and you're good to go. No need for hair spray or any of that nonsense.

    broomstick handle bars

How is it any different than dirt bike handle bars or clip ons or ape hangers, etc.? I think they'd look pretty badass on the right bike: Of course, it will take time to adjust and get used to the riding position and what not.

    Is this a fair rate?

Don't get too excited, their car rates are not all that. So yes, you'll get your 40% discount on the bike, but you'll be paying 40% and up on your car. My car and motorcycle insurance policies are divided for that reason. Bel Air direct gave me the best rate for my car and SF was the only...

    Panigale Crash.

I'll have to agree with the majority here, 100% rider error. He had plenty of time to stop, not sure what the hell he was thinking.

    Is this a fair rate?

That's on par with what I'm paying on a 600 gsxr. You won't find any cheaper until you hit the big THREE OH!

Out of curiosity, why are you comparing cheap entry level compacts to motorcycles?

Alternative to Shoei RF-1000 and TZ-R, fit/ sizing question

In all honesty, there is probably not much difference between the X-12 and the current RF-1200 in terms of features, maybe a little lighter, maybe a bit more 'breathable'. However the main feature that had me sold is the quick emergency release system they implemented. Great helmet and it's not...

Alternative to Shoei RF-1000 and TZ-R, fit/ sizing question

You're better off going to a moto store and actually trying on a few different brands and models to see what fits you best.
