    Ticket advice?

It is a separate box and you could have disputed the ticket without checking that off. I am not sure the procedure for reversing this if you did not select disputing the officers evidence.

    Herniated discs and motorcycle riding

Certainly. It was the L5 S1 vertabrae. I can only tell you that my neurosurgeon was not confident with the reliability of replacement discs for my surgery. My surgery was done at St. Mike's and my neurosurgeon has been the game for many years (30 +). I am not sure what you have 'heard' or...

    Herniated discs and motorcycle riding

As strange as this sounds, the disc was not replaced. Current technology does not provide for a reliable/lasting substitute for a disc. There are very few places in Canada that offer this. Depending on the location of the disc and the mobility of the spine at this point; dictates what they do...

    Herniated discs and motorcycle riding

Just be patient and keep at it, hopefully you will get the surgery if that is the right option for you. I was up and walking the day after the surgery. Recovery time depends on condition going into the surgery. The more you can stay mobile after surgery, the better. I was on a under 5 pound...

    Herniated discs and motorcycle riding

Wow, this thread brings up a lot of fresh memories. About 9 months ago I started experiencing back pain with radiation down the leg. I took up physio and was religiously following the excercise and stretching routine provided to me. This was in additon to attending physio sessions and...

    Crash

4 years ago coming home from a work event in the early evening. Aproaching gas station with driver waiting to make a left out of gas station. I act defensively and start to slow in case he doesn't see me. Blip the horn and he stops creeping out into interesction. I assume he has seen me and...

some really scary **** happened yesterday (non motorcycle related)!

It won't go on your 'record' so to speak, but most police agencies do record all enconters with individuals. Next time you encounter police they will have a record of the incident. I am not sure how wide spread this is shared across the various police agencies.

    Home Owner's Insurance

We use TD Meloche Monex. They offer a set of Alumni discounts depending on the school you graduated from. I shopped around with most of the majors and their rates/coverage seems good. Disclaimer: We have never made a claim against this inusrance, so I am not sure about their fulfillment side...

Truck reverse parked over my bike. Wait for cash or go through insurance?!?

I had a brand new 2003 R6 that a lady backed over on the street. Repair cost to put back to new was over $5000. Was that necessary for the bike to operate? Not at all, but why shouldn't I have my new bike mint as it was before the accident.

Anyone here ever take acting lessons?

I used to be in a drama group when I was younger and it can be quite a committment if you are doing shows. A good alternative for older folks is to look into improv classes or groups. These offer a fun alternative to 'activng classes' that will allow you to see if it is for you.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

I would be interested in what they define as humane. I tested the thing against my ankle when crossing the threshold and I found it quite intense.

    Is it leagl?-not HTA related

I saw one of these things in effect, and I will honestly say it disgusts me. No one would suggest using the same type of system on Children. If you can't control a pet, maybe you shouldn't have one. We had a number of dobermans on our country lot. With the correct training they can be taught...
