From reading the linked thread that helmet was put back together to look helmety for the photo. Apparently the whole front was ripped right off. The injuries were pretty severe. I would not have expected a good helmet to come apart like that. I hope that person is doing well today.

Why is there always a dermatological component to these matters? Was it the fire?
