Not sure about motorcycles but I recently gave my son-in-law (master Ford and Nissan mechanic) a set of very expensive vernier calipers as he now has to document, measure and photograph everything... It's a PITA for him but now a reality. I imagine motorcycles are not exempt from this process...

So I tired a Johnson bar and socket with no luck. I tried a pneumatic impact gun without success. My son in law Is an auto mechanic and has a No ******** pneumatic impact gun. Two rattles of the gun and then that glorious whirl sound and success. Just waiting for a new nut and tab washer before...

2019 Kaw. ZX10R the manual doesn't indicate a right or left hand thread for the drive sprocket nut. I assume it's a right hand thread. Anyone know for sure? I placed significant torque on the nut but it won't budge. yes I flattened the retaining washer first. Bike is in gear and rear brake...

It took 5 hours to change an air filter on zx10r. I was however not in a hurry.

That is the plan. I don't have replacement shims etc. The rest is just basic maintenance. I'm going to have to learn about abs fluid bleeding.

My old zx11 was easy enough, did it a few times until the clearance remained unchanged. The zx10 looks like it's going to be someone else's problem. Any recommendations as who can properly and competently perform this task.

valve clearance inspection \adjustment. Chain and sprockets, fork oil, coolant and break fluid change, air filter, break pads and tires. pads. It's now the value of a klx but it goes a long way. I'm now leaning towards an atv.

On 507 Saturday. It's good to go, no issues. The only thing is the first 6-8 km as it's old road surface and rough. I suppose one could bounce right off the road lol. Other than the South end it's quite fun.
