I want an RC8R badly but I cant get past their pricing. Brand new 2013 at the dealer for $16k, same price as a newer 899, which is a almost certainly a better bike. Does brand new $16k make sense to you guys for a 2013 RC8R? Interesting: insurance on an RC8R is much lower than a hypermotard...

I have an ICON Squad II and Ive removed the crazy arm wraps. I figure that it brings an aspect of high vis/reflective protection, can expand to carry a helmet, has a laptop compartment, is durable as hell. Its been great. Very well built.

I'll ride in the rain if it's not too bad, otherwise I'll take the car instead. Riding in the rain isn't nearly as bad as being stuck in brutal traffic on your bike in the rain. I question myself when that happens.

Its no worse than riding a bicycle really fast in the middle of a highway. Maybe even better if you wear full gear.

Your tag is just fine but just wait till Durham thaws and they get their bikes out. You'll see tags way up past Simcoe. I didn't notice that Nims did post the rules.

You can also put those strobes used by bicyclists on your helmet. Those things work great. Whitby, Scarborough, whatever, neither can go toe to toe with Markham. NEVER VENTURE INTO MARKHAM unless you're in a big huge truck. You wont make it out alive.
