I bought a clear plate protector from CT a few years back and it fits my plate properly. The problem I'm having now is that my plate doesn't fit my new bike... BMW F800ST... On the holes don't line up so I had to zip tie it on.

I was having a similar problem, when I replaced the socket, I ended up soldering and putting on heat shrink. It may be over-done but I haven't had a problem since.

I could be way off, but I thought in BC you can have up to 5 bikes on 1 policy for liability, you pay for the most expensive. Damage/theft is taken out separately.

Just take it back to Princess Auto and they will exchange it for a new one... they're really good about this kind of stuff. I did it a few year's ago when my 3/8" on was acting kind of funky.

Had the exact same experience at Open Road BMW a few years back before it became Serpa. I have no issue with giving to a good cause, just the way they approached it left a bad taste in my mouth.

Thanks for the ride! Sorry about some of the funky riding... my spedo kept cutting out past 80km, and the bike kept randomly surging. It's been totally fine up until today, then it died 2mins from home! I suspect it's the voltage regulator... it's pretty common on these bikes evidently.
