Speaking of Iron Butts....mine is not ..

They are indeed in what was formerly called North York. If you were interested in an Ultimate seat call them using the Canadian 800 number from the website. Tell them you are in Canada and you would like to pick up the seat at the factory. You'll save big bucks & pay in CDN$. Note: You...

mississauga, parrysound and burk's fall route

Yes avoid Kushog Lake Rd right now. Last weekend it was a sandy, dusty, rough pavement mess. Shane's correct that section using Hwy 35 is much nicer (right now).

$1 a beer... Ford has my vote now

Ford is getting desparate, totally unprepared to lead a party. He's staring to act like David Peterson in 1990. I wonder if the PC party has any regrets...

    Metal Roofing

We replaced our shingled roof with steel 4 years ago. No regrets, survived the wind storm last Friday with ease. Many shingled houses in the neighbourhood will have visits from their insurance and roofing companies next week. As mentioned they are noisy (pleasantly noisy) in a hard rain. And...

    Flying your bike

Re: Flying the bike - booked for Mid June for BC Who be it for me to plan your vacation... you are more than adept. I just don't understand your why you would want to make Salmon Arm your base. Is it the B&B ?? Granted I'm biased as I grew up in the Kootenays but I would suggest you use...

    Flying your bike

Re: Flying the bike - booked for Mid June for BC You really need to consider riding in the Kootenays. Some of the best roads in B.C. are centred around New Denver (Hwy 6)... just to the west of your intended route.

    Ridgid cordless tools

Home Depot(s) are the repair centres now. And yes you do have to register them (online) within the original 2-3 year warranty. I bought a dual-drill set in 2007 and just went through my 2nd round of battery replacements, no issues and no charge.

The Rise in Popularity of the CanAm Spyders?!

I guess we're some of those aging Baby Boomers as I'll be 65 later this year. We have two of them an RT and a ST. My wife is on her second one. Previously a 2011 (manual) and now a 2015 RT automatic. Mine is a 2013 ST manual. We both rode two wheels for years and we have full 'M' licenses...
