Don't know about the rest of you, but I only log in to respond to posts.
There are times where I just lurk and read the craziness of GTAM without logging in. Then there are other times where I'm just off GTAM for a couple months at a time.
I don't think OP would have anything else to add...
I knew that word would end up being used and referenced again after I used it. xD
It was a result of me trying to find a synonym of the term "maxing out" as Genesis used it in his statement in relation to "outgrowing" a bike.
I think we've cleared that part up that his use of the words "Maxing...
I totally get it.
I was weary taking turns in rain for 1.5 seasons after this one:

To regain my confidence, I literally had to say out loud to myself to not pull the clutch in fear of sliding out. I even kept telling myself it makes the turn unstable...
I've hit 350kms on the Ninja 300 in urban/suburban areas.. I'm sure I could probably hit over 400 if:
a. I'm riding rural
b. I'm not tempted to accelerate hard from a stop for a whole tank. (Probably has never happened)
Who knew it would be so easy for a female to get people to start raising pitch forks at her claim - oh wait, we all knew.
Pictures don't tell the story anymore as it once did. Video, or it didn't happen - and no cutting to the part where you could victimize yourself (*cough cough* many...
Your confidence was destroyed, gained about 50% back, and bottomed out a couple months later before my eyes. Still regret not recording at the time. ;)
How long did it even take you after the 2nd time to get back on? Didn't you sell your bike that time?
I haven't seen you since.
This is where you and 90% of people on this thread would disagree.
No one is talking about "Maxing out" the bike in regards to top speed, rather, people are talking about actually being able to ride and control the bike to it's potential.
This is why people are disagreeing with you as it...
A CBR125 will feel like a bicycle the moment you sit on it.
Short gears, high revs, turns almost like a bicycle. It's fun, but why stop at that. Try the Grom - it's a blast!
Would not recommend if you weigh 250lbs+, suspension may give.
If you start on a more powerful vehicle, you will think any vehicle with less power barely moves.
I disagree with the lack of power for the 300 class unless you regularly cruise at 135km/h+. If you're referring to lack of power above 135km/h I'd agree, but I try to keep myself under 50km/h over...
I doubt they're open, that usually adds 3-5% on top of closed rates.
It seems I had a pretty bad "deal" given the timing since signing up for a 3yr closed variable mortgage with CIBC 2 years ago at around 2.79% (I was new at this and wasn't really good at shopping around for better mortgage...
Or, there's always the alternative of renting a UHaul to tow it to the track. Although, renting under 25 sucks as there's usually a surcharge of $25-$100(I believe for insurance purposes).
This pretty much wraps up this story.
I get your love for riding, but you F'ed up big time by getting caught for riding dirty.
Unless you somehow win that case in court, you're screwed for 6-10 years (depending on the insurance company) $9.8k would be considered cheap.
If you do lose this...
I heard Canadian Tire does them at around $80, but heard they're pretty picky as they typically just follow the exact guidelines in what's acceptable.
Can always call to check.
Most new riders in the 16-21 age group tend to get a motorcycle to impress their friends although they don't like to admit it.
Many of my friends started riding (I believe) for this reason, and ended up selling their bike and never riding again after they finished school and moved on to work...
