    Biker wave question

Always funny when you wave to someone stopped at a light and they wave back with their clutch hand and stall. :lmao: I admit, I've done that once before - never again. lol

Anyone having second thoughts regarding motorcycling in general ?

Yup - usually at least once a week. Last year, I was stuck for a while on the ramp from DVP to Gardiner due to an accident and some guy (50-60 years old) in a pickup truck in front of me decided to light one up and start blazing. Idiotic to say in the least. Legalization won't change that -...

License plate location what’s legal and what’s not

Tickets for plate location are usually enforced if you're already doing something to catch their attention (or on the 407).

Re: Oh joy ....such lovely riding weather coming.YES!!!!!! 12hrs on a CBR125 killed my body for the next 3 days. Definitely was not in the right frame of mind near the end of it - mentally and physically exhausted. Don't think I'm going to do that again - luckily I was unemployed at the time...

    I Saw You: V.2.0

Sounds like the norm in Vaughan. Just follow them to a highway ramp and watch them all hit the brakes hard.

    near miss

Not sure how HTA172 relates to your statement (License suspension?) as cops don't need clear evidence to hit you with thousands of dollars in fines + suspension while not necessarily endangering anyone at all (ie. Filtering at a red light).

    Good deed

You don't need to be in first place the whole race, give others a bit of hope before winning by a mile! Don't forget to wave as you pass - it's just polite to thank others for the race.

Re: Oh joy ....such lovely riding weather coming.YES!!!!!! This incident happened on the DVP near the Gardiner. My riding is now pretty limited to commuting downtown, random quick jaunts around town in York and Durham region, and Moto Gymkhana drills/practices. I had to Google what an...

    Good motorcycle shops in Toronto

My bad, I was referring to getting work done at Flying Squirrel in October. It is possible they don't do general service (ie. Oil Changes and such) and do parts installs/repairs. Always safer to call anyways.

    Hit and run.. Motorcycle..

Depends what you consider "speeding". Lakeshore would probably be the most open multi-lane road within the city that people fly through. Spadina is a hell-hole when it comes to traffic, however, there are times where there are gaps in traffic where people easily hit 80km/h in 40 zones...

Re: Oh joy ....such lovely riding weather coming.YES!!!!!! Commuted to work today and was reminded of an important lesson - not to lift the visor up to scratch an itch above my eye this early in the season while riding behind a car. Got a whole lot of sand/salt in my face/eyes. Aside from...

Sena SMH10 and Galaxy S7 voice commands

Don't have a Sena, but rather a UClear. That being said, the functionality of Voice Command shouldn't differ between the two. Somewhere somehow, you can set Google to be the default Voice Command application rather than S Voice. I've tested using "Ok Google" in my helmet and car and wind noise...

    Scratching Harleys

Slap some frame sliders or a crash cage on, and join a MotoGymkhana group. Assess, practice, and learn from other riders. On the rare occasion bikes do drop, they're usually because too much brake being applied, or not enough throttle coming out of a sharp turn causing the tip over at usually...

Careless Driving/ No insurance ticket- HELP!

The cost of moving and finding work (unless you already have that covered) will likely far outweigh the cost and stress of giving an insurance company a call that can insure you under Facility Association (http://www.facilityassociation.com/). Would probably be easier taking public transit for...
