Sucks but I don't feel bad for all those single passenger vehicles. Folks need to take some responsibility for their choice of living 50-100km away from their job.
I try to park in conspicuous places most of the time but there are some streets downtown that I wouldn't risk, like simcoe st/pearl st (looks like a long back alley with not a lot of foot traffic/cars).
Exactly. Displacing and killing off Palestinians is a lot better for Israel instead of granting citizenship and voting rights to them. Then again, Orthodox Jews that don't work and breed like rabbits aren't going to help the political landscape either I'm afraid.
It's a compounded issue. Urban sprawl and bad public transport forces immigrants to get a car. So the province makes driving accessible to the lowest common denominator, our system graduates people with basic skills instead of a higher standard, we get grid lock and accidents, high insurance...
I have no problem with the House of Commons being locked in a standstill between parties. It's not like the country will shut down if MP's can't agree on anything.
Get the car just because it's the more flexible and convenient option. Then get a scooter for your two wheel needs, serious, scooters are fun and not expensive to insure/maintain compared to a bike.
I bought my new-to-me sv650n with a givi screen after mod on it. It's going to be fun to see how it fairs on highways with an upright ergos vs my old f4i.
I suppose it depends on what type of riding you do, and where you do it but I can't see any advantage to owning a 600ss anymore.
Personally, it was a chore dealing with crappy ergos for single riding and 2 upping and always had to play with caution because revving the bike to its preferred...
