It basically rained nonstop for the first month I was on a motorcycle, all of rider training and the test. Drizzle and wet roads for my M too. None were cancelled, but I've learned a lot by riding in the rain.

For every cop that has hassled me because of my SS, and there have been a few, there are 2-3 positive interactions. Just like everywhere else, you have your ******** and you have your good people.

I was with SF 14 years, I had motorcycle with them for the past 4. It started at $90/m(very good at the time) and eventually went up to $145. I switched recently and now I pay $78. The car insurance was expensive regardless. I must say though, in the end I was always happy with their business.

I guess it depends on power and how much bite you have, but even under 5km you can do no clutch. Practice super slow riding.

Its perfectly safe for a good rider. The problem and the reason it's illegal here is because Toronto drivers drive by the book, and are apparently unable to produce thoughts/reactions outside of what the Drivers Training book has printed in it. Our drivers can BARELY handle cookie cutter...

I used an SS to go DT for two years rain or shine, dressed business professional. You get used to it after time, it's no Cadi but it sure beats the hell out of the TTC. That and free parking, I love free parking.
