It is a general sign by the pay-gated entrance to the northern parking lot. I have not investigated the southern lot, though I would suspect it is there, also.
I know at Kipling station there's the a-hole "No Motorcycles" sign. Infuriating. Then again, while you can park for free downtown, why would you need to park at a transit hub? Then again, maybe you would, so TTC is shooting themselves in the foot by alienating motorcycle business.
That's some crazy misfortune. I don't mean to make light of your loss, but statistically it's EXTREMELY improbable that the bikes were responsible for this. How many people get 600 cc+ sportbikes and DON'T die that you haven't proportionally considered? Just putting things in perspective here...
Hey, I don't normally comment on things, but today I thought I would.
1) About policemen giving you incorrect directions, I was told many times by various people in Latin America that this is a legitimate problem. They don't do it because they want to harm you, they do it because culturally the...
Hoping someone, especially government, is smart enough to do XYZ is probably the worst bet in human history.
I'd be happy to take the other side of that bet, for you.
Bingo. It's not the garbage CANS that make Toronto a festering, deplorable, disgusting sh1thole, it's the garbage PEOPLE (and the garbage climate).
I've been to some real world-class cities (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Montreal, London, Istanbul, etc) and including Toronto in them is a...
Having travelled around North America on a motorbike, talking to everyone I meet, you'd be surprised. Most people aren't aware this toxic waste dump exists, and they're better off for it, I say. Toronto is only significant to Canadians and nearby places like Buffalo, Rochester, Detroit, Chicago...
Re: Motorcycle parking fees on hold for now
I've said this before, and I'll say it again, and I hope you use this in your casemaking: If I have to pay for parking in Toronto, I will never, ever go downtown again, for Toronto will have removed the one positive thing remaining about it. I...
Re: Men With Guns
Ok, people seem to be having some difficulty understanding, here.
The point was not "the guns".
It saddens me to have to spend so much time focusing on this.
Re: Men With Guns
Parking Enforcement are part of Toronto Police Services. They are full-on police like any other. It's like assuming the Intelligence Division of the Army aren't part of the Army because they're not front-line troops -- a fallacy.
