What's the worst bike you've ever owned and why?

Was it burgundy? Could be the one I sold off to a second hand dealer because it just stopped running altogether :)

Seeking help in looking for a Sport Tourer

That guy has really done his up. I have had the 2008 C14 since about 2 minutes after it was released and it's fast, comfortable and remarkably good on gas for the size. Saddle bags are huge. Has some techo-crap I could live without - Kipass and TPMS are just not needed, would rather have had...

    Do you pre book motels?

I've been burned on the pre-mentioned "some sort of festival/sports event/convention" in town, as well as some established name motels (Ramada, Quality Inn) being total toilets, so I always use Trip Advisor and book in advance now - usually the night before. I've also found some gems with Trip...

    Long Weekend looking very sucky

Helping with some moving on the weekend, so that requires my truck instead of the bike, but I hope to get out at least locally for a spin. P.O.P. is 40/80/60 in SWO right now

Air hawk seat ,good or bad?

Thanks for pointing this out. I can't be too much higher saddle-wise or I will lose contact with the ground, but I can see this also doubling as a stadium cushion

    wow glad I had Nexus

Two weeks ago the lineup to Bluewater Bridge @Sarnia was backed up 2 blocks down the 402. From previous experience, that would be 1 hour plus. Nexus in hand - 7 minutes. If that's not worth the price of 83¢ a month, I don't know what is!

    Touring gear recommendations?

I really like my Gaerne boots. Mine are a few years old, similar to this new style: http://www.gaerneusa.com/shop/touring/flow-waterproof-touring-boot They have stayed dry and are comfortable to walk in - not going on a hiking expedition mind you - just walking.

Interesting graph on ages, violations, and crashes.

Those Greeks were crazy. I hardly ever stole a candy bar, never "borrowed" a a M-B 450SL to go joyriding before I had a license, never smoked anything but personally grown medicine - avoiding a dealer, and I never, ever admitted that I drove my parent's station wagon up and over the curb...

Ride Report - The Pennsylvania Loop

They would not dispatch to a closed road. They also won't dispatch to a side road if it is not a marked county road. I'm sure the police would be happy to fly in a chopper at incredible expense. To you.

If you have the TD US$ account and keep a balance of $3k min per month, the USD Visa card fee is waived as are fees on the account. You don't need a CAD account. Trip To Spain..Where To Go?

Me too! I'm not sure of the exact route (via Edelweiss Tours) but the picture they have of this mountain pass looks promising! Tour goes through the Pyrenees, through Andorra and into France.
