Just a suggestion here, run your VIN through google. I once stumbled upon a Jeep Compass in excellent condition at a fair price. Well, a simple google search lead me to a website where this exact car (same VIN) was sold as a wreck with serious front end damage. You never know.

If it's an inductiion loop (wire burried in the ground just like at the traffic lights) you can get two magnets and attach them to the bottom of your bike. Supposedly it works, google it.
