    MotoGP 2014

Awwww...2500fps...even better! 1 hour of racing will give me a whooping 83 hours and 20 minutes of joy in my couch during my winter hibernation :) On the positive side---by the time you rewatch the season, it will be next season already :)

Haha :) Have you looked outside? Track bike is no good right now, so gimme all the races in slow-mo! ;)

    MotoGP 2014

Well, let's see: at 2000 fps shutter speed, standard playback at 30 fps, 1 hour of real live footage will result in about 66 hours of watching.

Bell Fibe is VDSL, max 10 up me thinks. When I had the Fibe 50, it was 10 up alright, but stability---none, constant disconnects... Anyway, happy camper on Rogers 60 down / 10 up now, modem hasn't rebooted even once for 3-4 weeks already.

Season is far from over! I cheer for VR to stay on top of JL in the standings, so there's still lot's of excitement left :)

Just quit smoking. This is hard!

After multiple tries with utilizing gum, patch, scary medical images tactic and what not, I managed to quit cold turkey about 8-9 years ago. 6 years later I stupidly picked up a cig just to keep company to a buddy at work, and predictably---next thing I know is I'm buying a pack at the gas...

Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

Yeah, you'll like it. Obviously, make sure you use a phone you don't care about (in the even of the you know what). I used to keep the phone in the pocket of the jacket (connects to the GPS via bluetooth), and even after couple of crashes there isn't even a scratch on it. But you never know...

Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

I'm selling my phone + gps combo for 70 bucks if anyone is interested, as some know--I don't do trackdays anymore these days (hopefully a temporary arrangement). It's an old Android phone I bought from ebay for this purpose only (Droid Incredible I think), Trackmaster app, and this...

I guess you didn't watch the post-race interview then? I'm not talking the press conference immediately after the race, but the individual interview later.

    MotoGP 2014

Just watched the post-race interviews. Even though Lorenzo was slow in the FP's, plus got ahead only because Marc made a mistake, still enjoyed this unexpected pace he had for the race---what seems typical: complaining and saying Race Direction should investigate the race winning move... too...

Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

Kwtoxman, I'm sorry, I didn't mean to pick a fight or offend you in any way. It just sounded a bit exaggerated to say 1:20 is de facto nothing more than a "fast street rider", a statement with which I, and I bet many other people, would completely disagree. We've seen "fast" street riders come...

Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

I'm confused on multiple counts :( 1:20 at TMP is just a "fast street rider" Also, can somebody explain what I should be seeing in these two pics, because what I see I don't really like in terms of body position and an insane lean angle as a result (it is possible that I just...

Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

Trackside on that day (2012), I timed a few laps on my phone timer app, out of personal interest because he looked fast. He was at 1:20-1:21. Happened at another trackday I met him in 2013, I was going around at 1:24-1:25 then (according to my own lap timer onboard), we left out together, I...

Disrepectful Trackday Riders- Don't Bother Coming Anymore!

He has his own company, and from what I see right now on his website, he's got two planes already. Since I don't think it is related to this thread and safety at the track, I'm not going to be a ****** to post the link. I think it comes down to the person not realizing the real danger of...
