    Funeral Convoy: What to do?

Thanks for the info, folks. This is why I asked the question in the first place. I don't see the point of it. Not every funeral does this, right? I guess I'm just young and morally relative :)

    Funeral Convoy: What to do?

I haven't seen one of these since I got back but encountered two today. Cops hold up traffic but don't seem to mind people getting into the convoy. What is the law? Basically do what the LEO instructs you to do? Or can you just follow normal laws and pass it?

STOLEN - REWARD - 2004 Black Hayabusa with purple trim STOLEN

That's just awful. Chances are low but I hope the thief sees this and returns it.

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

Excellent advice. My SF agent has been really great with me. I'll let them know what my plan is and my concerns and see what they have to say about it (whether I sell the bike or not). Weekdays are also not free; mornings will be busy but unpaid. This is the life of a fresh B. Ed. graduate.

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

Indicates that ABS isn't on yet. Before it turns itself on you have to ride a few metres for the computer to check that both tires are rotating at the same speed. After a few metres the light goes off and ABS is enabled.

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

I'll be on his for sure if it gets sold. This would count as continuous?

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

Yep, new bike. So I'd lose money on it. But I'd be able to sell it for the same or more than what is required to pay it off. I'm not going to use the money for anything else other than paying down some debt (as a result of being a student the past year) and then putting it towards savings...

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

Haha, actually I find the opposite. I wish it had a digital speedo. But I love the asymmetrical headlights.

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

Hmm, I could just cancel insurance... The bike lost a good chunk of value when I bought it during this first year. Holding on to it for another year wouldn't reduce it that much, I suppose. I guess the thing holding me back is that I just love it so much; it's really a great fit for my style of...

    WWYD: Sell the bike dilemma

So I've had my '11 F800R for almost a year now. Love it to pieces. It was a great upgrade from a Hyosung GT250R when I got back from Korea. I've put on almost 19,000 km (4,500 was from a trip to Florida). My dilemma is this: insurance is a good chunk of change and the monthly payment is the...

Air Canada: Fee to choose your seat?!

My father was on the ball; warned me about it. I'd be pretty PO'd if not!

Air Canada: Fee to choose your seat?!

I cashed mine out for a couple of big Amex gift cards.

    It's FILTERING, NOT lane splitting!

I love the TTC but only because it's perfect for my commute (I live on Bloor and had school/work on Bloor). But for those not on the subway it's woefully inadequate. And with our city's current administration I don't see it getting any better anytime soon.

    It's FILTERING, NOT lane splitting!

Adding to our fuel economy numbers: My BMW F800R gets, at worst, 5.5L/100km, in the city doing fast starts and such. At best, 4.0L/100km on the highway. When I borrow my parents' car, a 2.0L turbo Saab, it gets 7.5L/100km on the highway and 10.5-12L/100km in the city (driven conservatively)...

Motorcycle Parking Fees Recommended without Notice or Public Consultation

Even better. They have the foresight to encourage motorcycles and reduce congestion. I wouldn't expect foresight from the City of Toronto at this time.

Motorcycle Parking Fees Recommended without Notice or Public Consultation

I wouldn't have a problem paying if it was done by license place and credit card. Having a flimsy slip that anyone can take doesn't make any sense.

Are you guilty of any of these motorcycle fashion faux-pas?

I got a dark smoke visor a few months ago. So much easier and more comfortable than dealing with sunglasses. The only problem for me is taking the visor off for night riding.

GTAM time wasters as bad as Kijiji

I have a pile of dirt on my lawn up for trades. In other news, I put my old iPad up for $275 and had one guy take the time (with poor spelling and grammar) explain how $100 was a good price for it. Sold for $275 the same day.

    The DVP

Question. I don't ride commute on the DVP but I occasionally hit it during weekdays. I presume it's legal to ride in the right lane, then when an onramp comes up to shift into that lane and ride it until you move back into the traffic right lane. As long as you switch lanes before the white...
