Can you drive with a side mount tailgate open?

I hate carrying airbags around all unused. what a waste. hardly essential, maybe helpful.

    Halton Police Motorcycle Event

I have to agree with Brian. If it's really about getting people to take the safer option, pullin' tags of a 20 year olds only car because no EGR is not going to accomplish anything... Reality, they just can't pass up the opportunity to pad the local coffers. Would bet force A from the city...

    Questions for GTA Aprilia Owners

30k on mine. Replaced stator over this winter as it was starting to burn Still charging but probably wouldn't have lasted the season. Common problem, and apparently fixed with an updated flywheel stator combo I installed. Guess I'll find out in another 25-30k :p I have also had a few small...

Rotella T on Sale at CT

Still carries the Jaso MA rating, and if the formulation has changed it would have to be recertified I would think.

Rotella T on Sale at CT

I have used T6 in both the Aprilia and Speedy with no issue. Pretty sure those make slightly more power. A friend had 60k on an 08 fireblade running T6 exclusively, original clutch showed no signs of slippage. But hey, if anyone wants to buy the "motorcycle" oil for more, by all means don't let...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

A laptop and compatible J-2534 pass-thru running the appropriate OE level software is something a quality indy should have these days. Most makes can be fully service with this setup, and for the few that can't, I have the OE hardware so I can. With such, re-enabling, re-coding, software...

Help with Insurance Options for 2017 R6 (Fully understanding dilemma)

nope, any ticket, car or bike. As for naked vs SS, it's hilarious, but you could probably insure an MT-10 for the same or less than that R6 lol

Help with Insurance Options for 2017 R6 (Fully understanding dilemma)

welcome to Ontario, where anything with a fairing is automatically a crotch rocket, and therefore subject to ridiculous rates for a new rider. edit: bigpoppa may be right, just going off my personal experience with a single ticket, many years ago. Should check it out and see what the...

Help with Insurance Options for 2017 R6 (Fully understanding dilemma)

I payed 4k per for a 250 Ninja back in the day. Not a perfect record, but I'd imagine OP would be looking at 3500+ for a 300 these days, and given his wealth of experience, meh, it's probably worth it to spend the extra for the R6 imo.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

We have access to much of the same training as the dealers, at most 2 years out from the release of the latest tech. At my shop there is nothing I can't do that the dealer can outside of recalls. This includes diagnoses, software upgrades etc. The tools are available to those who wish to be on...

Rotella T on Sale at CT

Jaso MA rating has indeed been on the T6 labels since at least 2013 when I bought the Ape... Anyway, I'm actually using eni I-sint 5w40 atm as it's what I have in bulk; no JASO cert.

Insult? Please do report it. Seriously. Now, seems no one else, and more importantly, the person I replied to in both instances you decided to cite, had any noteworthy objection to what I had said. So what was your motivation? Want to talk more about attempts to drag this thread into something...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

You mean this? Big leap to infer your above statement with what I actually said. What I like or dislike (my personal preference) has no bearing on what would ultimately be more reliable, which was what was being discussed, I thought... Anyway, I'd by a volt if I gave a damn about gas mileage...
