    2005 - 2009 JEEP GRAND CHROKEE - QUESTIONS - Help?

Interesting that it will stay on 4 cylinders at 120 kph even if you are being gentle on flat road with no wind. On the other hand, 20.5 mpg is not outstanding since you have to almost baby it to get 660 kms outta 20 gallons. (how I arrived at 20.5) Is this on the truck that has been lifted and...

    2005 - 2009 JEEP GRAND CHROKEE - QUESTIONS - Help?

Probably referring to anyone not doing a lot of clicks and/or not working it. The CRD will be a premium even on used. And if the CRD had a tough initial life (short trips in the winter..drive it and forget it type attitudes, which some diesel purchasers mistakenly have) then cost of potential...

Bus Monitor in tears due to some 12 yr old punks .. ( gone viral)

This was a far more diplomatic response than what I was gonna muster up. Well done.

Sometimes people use my driveway to access a field by my house....

I don't think you are being pissy one bit. Either do what wobblycat suggested (most affordable..maybe add Shooting Range KEEP OUT to it) or put up enough of a fence that it at least stops the vehicular traffic. That type of crap makes me livid. Furthermore, it makes you more vulnerable to a b...

Boy, it sure is windy today

Holy crap...don't freakin' believe this *******! Talk about a bubble-boy..I'd report the VIN as hit and run..wait for the cop to arrive..take pics. The ******* has temerity in spades..

Waving as you pass another rider?

Good post.. although any oncoming drifted into my lane only gets one of the two fingers. I too pull up beside someone at a light, give a nod. Compliment their exhaust sound if i like it...that sorta thing. I always let them leave first and indicate so if they wait on me momentarily.

Going to go?? As for lost site content, I do hope that if anything is going to be able to be recovered, Technical is.

Saw myself a police chase first hand...

^ it's more probable that a cop further south, radio'd ahead to the cop at Innisfil to watch for a bike at a high rate of speed who switched his lights off. If he had no taillight either..that'd be my guess and the cop that took up the pursuit was already waiting and looking for a bike with no...

Bikes Being Stolen From Condo Undergrounds.... Stupid! The Solution Is Easy

hahaha, chuckle chuckle chuckle, you said booby too but on a more serious note, the OP's idea of a cage with private access, could be a relatively inexpensive selling point to a developer having trouble moving some of these more luxury oriented condos (you know...the ones that aren't moving and...

    Cornering situation

ya I'm in agreement with that. I rarely roll off in any corner unless I am caught by surprise, and even then over the years of racing I've learned that it that moment, it is a serious case of mind over matter and I have made it through many corners by actually riding it through (neutral power)...

    Cornering situation

Well, to be fair, that's a bit harsh. Some of what friendly has been saying is true, although FTR I'm not a rear brake fan. I prefer to freeup whatever level of conscious thought I'd be using on rear braking, for all the other things taxing my brain at the time. (which could include an impromptu...

Waving as you pass another rider?

ok, ya I missed the humour. It did cross my mind as a possibility though. (you realize I didn't have to admit that) Anyway, hate is sort of a strong word..I didn't think I portrayed hate. You suggested to me to not take things so seriously..well to interpret what I said as hate I'd say you were...

Concrete Falls Off Gardner Smashing Car Windshield

Best thing they can do with that thing now, financially (in order to fend off severe gridlock) is do away with the ceiling height that allows trucks to use it, by building an entire supporting redundant substructure around existing piers. Have a light duty (read cheap) roof that collects the odd...

    Cornering situation

exactly As someone who teaches, I'm surprised that you offered any input or advice other than to say, "come to the track and we can help you". Any other advice here, no matter how well intentioned (and some posters have had good advice, but is still prone to misuse due to all the variables I...

Waving as you pass another rider?

I wish you a great day too (not being sarcastic). FWIW, I have less patience than I used to for small minded comments like Mr Low-Self-Esteem-S1000RR type poster ragging on scooter riders. Scooter riders have practically all the visceral elements of enjoyment and risk as any other 2 wheeler. I...

    Cornering situation

There is only one part of your question we could possibly properly advise you on. Yes, take a track course or two or three. The other part of your question is quite literally impossible to advise you on, (although there will be no shortage of misguided, well-intentioned contributors who think...
