buying/ordering gear in Toronto - not doing it anymore

Whispering? You mean small font? Weird, I got an internal server error and it wouldn't post..so I c/p and when I pasted, it was very small font..so I went in and made the font what is showing here as the normal size, but sounds like it is displaying on all other PC's as small font. In your...

buying/ordering gear in Toronto - not doing it anymore

I think you should consider that if you are traveling in Canada and you have a breakdown, it is always someone's local dealer that usually rises to the occasion and sometimes stays open late or even opens up for you on a holiday to bail you out. That is worth something. So I hope you at least...

    Canada Day

Good point but I wonder what the odds are? Probably discouragingly high. I imagine it would have a place of origin tag sewn in somewhere.

They will wave the Canadian flags after the Italian ones? Why not at same time??

Crazy driver - water gun in eyes

I suspect that if you were to follow and get a plate number a (non rider hating) cop could investigate this and at the very least the water gun seized, and probably charges of some sort that might get a lot more serious depending upon what was found in the gun, whether it was just water or not...

    Concrete falling from Gardiner again

I remember when a TTC metro pass (unlimited use monthly) was $28.00. Seems like it was only about 20 or so years ago. I have some aluminum TTC coins for the subway...does anyone know if they still work? They were bought about 20 years ago.

    2005 - 2009 JEEP GRAND CHROKEE - QUESTIONS - Help?

Could be? I know they went with coils and links which helped a lot with the abruptness of the ride. As for unibody shutter, just take a 2nd last (and maybe current?) gen CRV for a drive...it's there in spades. Best handling/riding CRV is 2006 and older. I meant to add..I get that unibody...

    Cornering situation

Since you're 'pro' slipper clutch, "devolved" is not the word you wanted.. And I was referring (and said so) to the first ones made available as mass production. Do you really think your skill is equal to a rider who can do the same corner entry without a slipper clutch? Really...

    Jeep wrangler

There is a recognizable theme here..I think you should test drive a bunch, then go with your gut but spend the most time in the Jeep. Some dealers will let you take a demo for at least over night, even a w/e if u promise to not off road it.

    2005 - 2009 JEEP GRAND CHROKEE - QUESTIONS - Help?

Yup, unibody shutter..I don't like it either.

    Cornering situation

Thumb up to you, you were more courteous than I wudda been. I can tell from reading your post compared to hers/his?, you'd annihilate her/him? on the track. Unless maybe she can't read..I guess that's a possibility. Someone who is fast and smooth on entry don't need slipper clutches. She'll...

Waving as you pass another rider?

Stopped at a light? There might be some meds that might help you with that. Stopped at a light? There might be some meds that might help you with that. Sure...as if you have never posted any purge-worthy crap..

    Cornering situation

The thing is though, if you don't know the corner and you have come in too hot, in order to turn it into a 2 turn corner, the 2nd turn-in is tightening the corner. Great for racing to shorten lap times, but not always effective for a newb to a new unknown corner. At the risk of being...

Open primary drive on a Shadow 750

I think you are confused as to which type of drive allows the greatest amount of torque to get to the rear wheel. Chain or belt don't require a direction change, so in fact shaft drives inhibit full torque potential.

Waving as you pass another rider?

No kidding..the falling back on sarc is a little over-used at times. Some would call it an as needed cop out..

    2005 - 2009 JEEP GRAND CHROKEE - QUESTIONS - Help?

I have a feeling that tonneau cover is helping it quite a lot. I used to leave the tail gate down for a highway trip, and had a smooth rubber cargo mat. Seemed to help a bit. I almost bought a Canyon until I asked around about them and heard there were a lot of random problems with them. I was...
