Motorcycle Parking Fees Recommended without Notice or Public Consultation

So it appears that Pay by phone parking will be in place by the end of the summer (starting in the lots, then moving to street parking). Haven't heard anymore details though, but if you have to register your plate/credit card I'd imagine they could have different rates for vehicle type...

Parking at 250/270 wellington (Icon building)

Hey everyone, relocated to the icon buildings but no parking spot with my unit. Looking to see if anyone lives there/knows someone who would be up for sharing parking space. I have posted something at the building as well but figured why not post here too. PM me here if you have something...

    Overflow tube spitting water

Hey guys, Just did an oil change on my '02 F4i. Putting the fairing back on, I was gently putting the overflow tubes back in place and one of them spit out about half a cup/cup of water. Any ideas why that would be, or where it came from? As far as I'm aware, the coolant in the bike is not...

Crazy driver - water gun in eyes

So riding in downtown this evening, in the King/Bathurst area - someone in a car in oncoming traffic leaned a water gun out the window and shot water into my open visor (no glasses). Thankfully I was able to maintain control/not hit anything, and it was just water so after a few seconds my eyes...

300 km/h motorcycle ride shocks Vancouver Island police

The speeds the rider was splitting cars at is intense. I'm not even at the point I'd be brave enough to get to 300 on a closed course (if I had a bike that could hit that).

    Pooled Coolant at light

OK so this might be the issue then. The bike was COLD and I filled it to the upper line in the bottle. I thought it was a 'min/max' line - apparently I wasn't paying close enough attention... It looks like it sits around the cold line now. I'll have to look this afternoon again and see.

    Pooled Coolant at light

The engine was cold at the time that I filled it, again not into the rad itself but into the little tank by the right rear set. Pooling was off to the RIGHT side of the bike, forward of right foot. Between the handlebar and the feet (after looking online this morning at the service manuals...

    Pooled Coolant at light

Is there a way I can test the cap for pressure leakage, or is this something best left to a shop to troubleshoot?

    Pooled Coolant at light

Hey all, I looked through a few previous questions about coolant leaks/coolant issues and wasn't confident I got the answer to my question. Bike info: 2002 CRB600 F4i This past weekend, I topped off (to the upper mark on the tank) the coolant reservior. Rode it a few times, with no visible...

Funny that he started as a squid. I'm sure that'd be an interesting experience being at a gas station and having to set a celebrity straight on their gear.

    Most dangerous vehicle to bikers?

Most dangerous to bikers - the motorcycle you're riding. Everyone can be a bad driver in any type of 'cage' (bad day/momentary distraction/malfunction of vehicle) - but you in any quality gear vs cage... you lose. Horrible drivers will always exist, we're taking that risk everytime we get on our...

    State Farm - Ticket Policy

Court date came and gone, spent the whole day there and learned a lot. They ended up withdrawing the charges due to 'insufficient evidence for conviction' - but it was a bit of a poker match with all the prep work I had done. Thanks all who gave advice in the process

    Woodcraft Frame Sliders

Definitely, I'll post up some pictures once I'm done too. For the laser light, I've seen in a bunch of the videos online of people showing how to do it. You take the fairing off, point the laser at the middle of the bolt you're going to put it on, then put the fairing back on. Then the light...
