    One of my winter projects....

I just wouldn't trust wiring without soldering connections...my bike has 21,000. Just picked it up in December, been making some changes throughout the winter, but I really can't wait to get it out on the road on a nice day.

    One of my winter projects....

Thanks...I soldered and heat shrunk everything...and yanked pretty good on each solder point to test it. I thankfully have done a lot of it in the past which helped for this job. I've heard of people doing this and just taping up the wires though... :confused1: scary!

    One of my winter projects....

Well, I did a little and stopped and came back to it, all in all, with the dual headlight mod and everything it was about a month and a half I think. As I said, that was with like weeks going by without doing anything though. A very committed person could probably get it done over a weekend if...

    Anti-theft ideas

I was thinking of parking it in my backyard and then locking the gate with a padlock and then parking my car in front of the gate as an additional measure...it should at least help to prevent over night thefts...but I think the suggestion about upping my insurance is a good call

    Anti-theft ideas

Hey guys, So I'm stuck in a shi**y situation for this year. The place I'm renting doesn't have a garage, which means I have to store my bike outside. When I had my 250 last year I wasn't too concerned, but with my new bike I am a little bit worried about it getting stolen. I'm contemplating...

    One of my winter projects....

As Ashkun said, it can be done to any bike, but it does take quite a bit of time and effort, so I'd recommend only doing it if you plan on keeping the 250 for awhile....if you're going to be moving up to a bigger bike any time soon I wouldn't bother with it...but to each their own :)! Try...

    Two wheel motorsports guelph ?

I just moved to Guelph and I've heard bad things about 2 wheel for service. I called to find out how much it would cost for a safety and it was almost $100! (somewhere in the high 80's before tax). Let me know if you find somewhere good around here...

    Thoughts on 2013 Honda CBR500R?

It'd be a good bike to go with until you can afford the insurance, but for how much it's going to cost, you may want to consider keeping it for awhile :).

    One of my winter projects....

Frig I don't even think I'd do this ever again even if I was paid good money! It's a b*tch of a job, and requires a great deal of patience and frequent trips to PartSource :( Good luck to you with your lights...if it helps, my buddy did his CBR600 and it was significantly easier than it was on...

    One of my winter projects....

I've ran separate power lines to the battery for both the HIDs and the pod lighting. The HIDs are still controlled by the original headlight harness though, however don't draw power through the stock wires...hopefully that helps to explain it. The pods are wired directly to the battery with an...

    GPS products

I got the Zumo 660LM last year and it's been pretty good so far. I have it mounted using a stem mount and it looks pretty clean. Only problem I've had with it so far is the audio out on it. For some reason towards the end of last summer the headphone audio out jack just stopped working. I...
