i used to do a lot of the charitiy half marathons around the GTA, one summer did all the major ones for a lark...it's frigging expensive. sure if you jump in a year earlier they are about $30 to $50 each...but that's if you know your schedule and sometimes i have stuff come up, so i don't buy...
