You should also watch the original 1971 film, starring Richard Roundtree. It hits much differently. Then there's the Wayans Brothers "I'm gonna Git You Sucka" that's a take-down of Blackspoitation films.

Oh, it was definitely a knowing choice.

How someone mistakes "cruise control" for "autopilot", after completing a Class A license requirement, is frankly beyond me.

Law Enforcement - The Good, The Bad, The Ugly.....

Deadbolts are fine, providing they're long enough. The problems occur when the door frame hasn't been sufficiently reinforced to accommodate them. A friend learned this, the hard way, when some tweaker easily kicked door, despite a deadbolt, and robbed his house. The contractor who did the...

I heard him talking about this, weeks ago, in a radio interview.

    Deadbolt, as predicted.

I was thinking the same thing. If the tenant had a deadbolt then the damage would be extreme. Also the cost of labour for the contractor.

Police misconduct having cases thrown out outright. Prison guard misconduct shortening sentences. You think that they would bloody learn, but they never think that they'll get caught. They aren't helping justice happen. They're frustrating it.

The centre section is closed. The Gardiner still has two lanes open each way, through the construction area. The only entrances are the construction entrances and there are sections of deck removed, which is presumably when he fell through.

That's likely not happening at rush hour. EDIT - Unless the u-turn that he made was from the left lane into the construction access?

The wrong way. On The Gardiner. At 5:35PM. Traffic is basically at a standstill on the Gardiner, in both directions, around 5:30pm. I want to know how this guy made his way through that traffic going the wrong way because, quite frankly, I want to know his secret.

Sounds like the semi driver was suspended with good reason. I wonder if they were an owner/operator because I would expect any reputable trucking company to know if their driver is suspended.

I went back to look at your pictures, yesterday, to see what directions they might have been shooting.

I think that you'll need to 'borrow' the cable subscription of someone to sign in, because the app asks you to authenticate through your provider. I cut way back on my cable subscription, not too long ago, but kept the basic for news, etc.. EDIT - Also available as an add-on to Prime.

It's on CITY-TV Thursday nights, but also on their CITY+ app the following day. One episode of season 2 out so far.

"Law & Order Criminal Intent: Toronto" continues with it's "not based on real events" episodes that are based on real events. Still in the original formula and still good.

Say "The Holy Trinity" to a Trekkie and they immediately know who you're talking about. The Mirror Universe is a cool premise for a show or two, in the run of a series. Basing your entire first season (maybe more?) on the premise that someone 'slipped over the border' and is commanding a ship...

It went very un-Trek, in an effort to bring in new viewers. Some people love it. I hated it and gave up on it rather early. By comparison other new stuff, like "Lower Decks" and "Strange New Worlds" felt like coming home and I loved them. Really looking forward to the new season of SNW and sad...
