Could you please elaborate on this. I've read the book and spent some time googling and still not sure why you think the quote is out of place. I'm honestly interested in hearing your opinion on this.
I'm not sure why she is losing money. Costco has short and long term disability insurance according to their website. Is there a reason she cannot collect on the plan? It appears you have a doctors support so qualifying for short/long term disability should be doable.
Have you guys suggested...
It seems that way at first blush. But those sand bags are really close to the track. I hope for the organizers sake that the sand bags are there for actual races and that they mentioned them in the riders meeting. I fully believe that the waiver should protect the organizers but I can see how...
What do you feel about the NFL players protesting during their games? Honest question, would you be ok if the owners told the players that
they can't protest while on the job? Would that be suppressing freedom of speech?
Don't over think it. Just ride. You have the basics from the course so just apply them on the street. Seat time is your friend. The more time you spend riding the quicker you will become comfortable. Btw, in my opinion the safest and easiest place to ride is the highway. Fewer thing to be...
I think his stuff is pretty cool. It looks like he is having a ton of fun and living the life many would kill for.. :) His whips are his bread and butter trick. He does them as well as anybody out there. He has a couple of x-games medals so I think he has earned a bit of cockiness... :)

"The first three shots knocked Yatim to the floor of the streetcar and paralyzed him, although it was determined at trial that he attempted to pick up the knife he had been brandishing."
Tbh, I have not verified the quote but it...
I disagree. The 40-50 yr old coming back to riding starts out far over confident. In their minds they are still 20 with the reflexes and skills they used to have. Then reality hits and they go bouncing down the road. This is what I've seen over the years. A very consistent pattern.
If constructive criticism worked with the motorcycle riding crowd, they would be wearing full leathers, back protector, full face helmet, armored gloves and armored boots every time they rode regardless of kind of bike and type of ride. But apparently road rash is the price of freedom..
FYI, BMW's break far more the Harley's according to consumer reports. Harley is between the best (Japanese manufacturers) and the worst (everything from Europe).
Can't imagine ever saying I would never buy something from any manufacturer. Who knows what the might come with that you would...
