    Art...

I painted "voice of fire" on one of my doors at the old house, didn't get sued. Also painted Spider-man in my eldest's bedroom. If Yoko Ono can make art, anyone can. Got bored and did this for my wife’s birthday, in a hurry.

    900,000 students coming in…

Wouldn’t that mean that we’re shedding an enormous number of private sector jobs?

Here's one reason why people hate motorcyclists

Looks like he may have deleted his posts. I can't see them anyways. He does seem to go through bikes pretty quick.

Rant: pulled out of my M test

Sorry, the line becomes a little wider. Same thing when you’re exiting the highway; the line changes when you’re supposed to do your signal & blindspot check.

Rant: pulled out of my M test

Looks like you missed looking at a hazard, turned left and didn’t immediately move into the right lane, didn’t signal before the left line turned white and wide when entering the highway. Good job.

Here's one reason why people hate motorcyclists

My problem with it is that most people on motorcycles today aren't very quick on the takeoff. That would mean that everyone stuck behind them has to wait even longer than usual. The rear end excuse, doesn't really fly as most rear ends happen when you're at the front of the line, and the...

Here's one reason why people hate motorcyclists

They drive with no plates on the wrong side of the road in Rome? Not that I've seen.

    Your loooongest ride.

Down to the Barber museum in Alabama and back for the Vintage motorcycle show & races. On the way down we saw Scranton, Wheels through Time, Dollywood, The Tail of the Dragon, Atlanta, and the Barber Museum & area. On the way back we went through Memphis, Bowling Green (Corvette museum)...

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2024 Edition)

One of the OSC instructors, Andy Miljour, lives there. I’ll try and post a track of our route, as we got lost and ended up going north on a freshly gravelled road along a west bank of the Ottawa.

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2024 Edition)

Wingboy, I'm confused as to who the "little" brother is. Six of us got out for a nice ride yesterday now, Ottawa to Kazabazua, Portage du Fort, Griffith, Calabogie, Packenham and back to Ottawa. One of the guys had stator problems, but made it home, after stalling at his exit.

Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2024 Edition)

Some of the trees are very red now in my neighborhood. Apparently, it wasn't cold enough, for long enough. I did a trip last weekend, and should pull the dashcam recordings before we go out again on Sunday.

    Daily sports car?

How to get in/out of a Ferrari. Looks really small and low. Probably seems to come out of nowhere like motorcycles, and startles those being passed.

    Bluetooth, where to start!

    I haven't seen any that say it's legal. Here's Quebec's where it's illegal, especially while cycling. https://saaq.gouv.qc.ca/en/road-safety/behaviours/distractions/what-law-says

Here's another from BC CTV that's the same: https://bc.ctvnews.ca/can-you-legally-wear-headphones-while-driving-1.1615620 I know that the M2X courses I've seen, they all used the single earphone.

    Bluetooth, where to start!

Have a Garmin XT. Had a Schuberth C3 Pro with a Cardo Freecom 4+, which worked well except that the music volume control was on the wrong device. Make sure you test, before a long ride, and not during one. The problem is that the Cardo is best stuck onto the Schuberth, which is technically...

    Overbearing electronics

Go to a course where they do progressive or emergency braking. If the people there aren’t skilled, they are at least working to become so. Check your braking distance and speed compared to them. I’m good on my ABS equipped bike, under all weather conditions. That’s not to say that I don’t...
