    Electric Lawn Mower?

Yeah it's not the tires fault. Either you're going too fast or the auger is a crappy design and isn't cutting into the bank well. I cut through 2ft plow banks today with my wheeled blower just fine.

    Electric Lawn Mower?

I saw someone using a Ryobi that looked very similar to that last week and they looked like they were struggling with it and not happy at all. The snow wasn't hard to blow by any means but that thing was only moving it maybe 12-15'.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

The Ariens auto-steer is frickin amazing though and worth it. You don't even feel it clicking in and out and the poly shoes are much nicer than steel. I still prefer wheels just for the speed of maneuvering and I've never had an issue with traction.

    Electric Lawn Mower?

Is there some type of guarantee that you'll be able to get replacement batteries in 5yrs when the originals die? Genuinely curious on that. I see the attraction of electric for city lawns/driveway but a good quality gas unit (on-par pricing of what electric units costs)is pretty darn...

    Big Screen Television

I had the big 42" RCA projection for a day then swapped it for the bigger 50" version. Never a problem with it for many years and gave it away when I moved. Upgraded to a 51" LG plasma I bought second hand from a divorce sale kijiji listing (he got the apartment and she got the tv but I didn't...

Motorcycle engine rebuild shop - West of Toronto - Recommendations ?

As you're probably aware you can barely give away a Triumph 955 so an option could be to pick up an entire used bike for peanuts and swap the motor. End up saving money compared to a rebuild and have spare parts to boot.

    Big Screen Television

Our $1500 Samsung lasted 2yrs before a pixel went dead causing a startup loop. I fixed it for free and it's 95% picture perfect with just a little bright spot in a corner but it's now a 75" garage tv. Our replacement $1500ish Sony 75" developed a single line after 2yrs last year but it went away...

    Banks and credit cards

I have a points CC and never carry a balance and a LOC I've never used. After 10yr+ of not using the LOC they sent me a card tied to it last week to use as a CC. They're really trying every angle.

    Superbowl

And at 7am you'll see chartered busses at the Duty Free border crossing taking on skids of beer just for the pre/post stadium tailgate party's.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Geez I’ve used our snowblower at least a dozen times since Christmas. 10cm tonight and another 10+ on Wednesday night coming. I’ve been puttering in the garage a bunch (especially when the wives get together). We decided to take a few years off from snowmobiling and sold our...

    Another Mike Holmes Stinker (Meaford)

To be fair the endorsement agreement could have been made with conditions they would use proper tradesman and AGM later did their own thing without his knowledge.

    2025 Newfoundland

Really depends if you're looking for fun twisty roads or good scenery. PEI and NFLD are all about scenery/people/experiences.

    Pickup Trucks

Had some free time so I changed up the audio in the F150. Took out the Audiocontrol amp/dsp and replaced it with a pair Helix amps/dsp upping the power and processing. My first time ordering anything from Latvia :)

What happens if KTM goes bust?

I had a Victory and they stopped making them a few yrs later now have a couple KTM's and........ It's me, Hi, I'm the problem it's me. (to be fair, my HD friends still all reminisce that my Victory Magnum was a beauty and it was also as reliable as a brick).

    Vacation season is upon us!

Really nice fairly quiet place with excellent food. The black card upgrade is definitely worth it (gets you into the private lounge/bar, more restaurant options, they'll put a 30yr old bottle of whatever in your preferred bar, etc). The beach isn't awesome but a short taxi ride gets you to some...

    Daily sports car?

I hand washed both vehicles today. I use Turtle Wax Hybrid Ceramic spray and it lasts months. Longest I’ve gone between coatings is 8 months and water was still beading perfectly like say 1 after that time. Really nice gloss to it and dirt comes off easily. I’ve used pricier ones and honestly...

    Powerwheels Battery

Thanks looks like either would fit/work. Would the 9ah alarm battery give more power or would the 8ah lithium be the better bet? I’m not worried about the extra recharges of the lithium as this is likely the last year it’ll get used and then get donated to friends (actually they likely don’t...
