    Garage Doors

There's an insulated vinyl door on my garage. It's 24 yrs old, from Sears. The only things that have gone bad were the rollers. They've been replaced once. It goes up and down several times a day, and the old Craftsman opener is still good. I bought an insulated, custom sized Garaga door at a...

    Used car sanity check

It's been sidswiped, minor body damage galore (all repaired) according to carfax, but nothing serious. It's from Texas too, so rust hasn't started yet. Running perfectly, 2 weeks in. Was $4700, certified.

    2024 Day Trips

Well, I did it. Went for a ride with a pack of harleys yesterday. My fjr and a yami venture excepted. 13 bikes in the group.....Turkey Point being the destination. Left hamilton about 1030. First stop....Binbrook. That took 10-15 minutes. A 45 minute break ensued while several packs of butts...

Amazon. Buddy bought HWK and is happy. I bought a suit that was $10 more than hwk, because it has a sweat liner. Haven't used it yet, and hope I don't have to.

What did you do in your garage today..?

Use these (buy 'em where ever). As soon as the edge looses that perfectness, turn it over, use the other edge, then toss it when it loses total sharpness and get a fresh one.

Enough of COVID...what are you doing to the house?

I've used Sikaflex, and similar expandable/self levelling concrete caulking repair products. They work as intended. Avoid the "bargain" brands.

    Stolen Ktm superduke

All the ins companies are the same. My adjuster last autumn didn't respond to a single phone call, voice mail or email. I had to complain to my broker, who sent a couple emails, which got the ball rolling after 6 weeks. Keep in mind, a theft claim will take a month, minimum, to settle. They...

Three weeks ago, I bailed my kid's car outta the pound. (it was parked & got towed a few weeks prior.) The bill was running, and up to >$2300. They took $475 cash.

    radiator repairs,,,who does em

Science. I can't explain how it works, but I can verify it works. Chemical reaction of some sort......the leak stops within a millisecond of the pepper (or paprika) making contact with the rad fluid. Bitzz says anti freeze isn't important. Respectfully, I disagree.
