What the crap is with all of these links and supposed "news feeds"? The last couple posted here are fraught with bias and misunderstandings. The best parts of this thread are when people post their own thoughts and ideas on the matter. LOL, people posting other people's opinions on this...

I've heard this as well. How noticeable is this difference, though; in the context of an average rider using this bike to fart around the city? Is it a very distinct difference, or is it one that you'll only notice after riding them back to back?

LOL yup....Miller was big on this philosophy. That whole Transit City light rail plan was based on this idea as well. I thought it was a good idea at first but the more I looked at it the more I realized what a big PITA that would've been to live with.

I think there's a belief that adding street cars would somehow reduce car traffic. That's not how Toronto works. I don't think that's how Toronto will ever work.

I agree...I have my own suspicions regarding flu shots and other such vaccinations, but I have absolutely no real information or evidence to put forward so I just try and keep that crap to myself for the most part.

Well there are people out there who genuinely have compromised immune systems. My dad, for one, gets sick pretty easily and it usually complicates his other medical conditions. The elderly, the very young, etc. It's probably a small percentage...which is why I find those HUGE line-ups for flu...

I'd say it's lazy project management....which is the real problem with city projects. That and ridiculously low project budgets.... Edit: you know what....lazy project management is the problem with most construction projects, but the City is particularly bad at it. Same with public school...

Have you looked into one of those BMW-esque adventure bikes? They seem to be all the rage these days. Other considerations would be a v-strom or a bandit 1200.

The wind....I guess. I like the feeling of air going over my head and around my body. If I squint hard enough it kind of feels like I'm flying.....while holding a vibrator in my right hand. :D

Because that money can be spent elsewhere at the moment. Besides, I want a speed triple... Nobody really needs a faster bike. You can also make the argument that nobody up in this region needs a bike at all, except for a few people who can get away with it as being their sole form of...
